The project is cancelled.
To those wondering why, I’ve been busy with school, and other things and I’m going to be honest I’m not very physed about this edit and it’s destroying my computer space. I will be doing another preservation soon of another Stars Wars I like.

Does anyone want fried chicken?

A 35mm project of Empire… (albeit with a ‘new blue-ish color grade’) and only one reply - in just under a week?

Oojason,

It is possible (just my opinion) that the same folks that have been turned off by the bluish / magenta tones of the 2011 blurays are looking at this project (which looks similiar in tone to said blurays)and are simply not stoked about it.

It’s also possible that folks are just super busy not to notice yet.

For my own case, I am so looking forward to project 4k80 which is nearing completion, that this doesn’t really register on my radar.

I want to be clear. I am not knocking on the above project, because the results are pretty nice. But as you also mentioned the blue-ish color… which we all have seen/owned.

Erich, all of what you say is correct and spot on - especially in regards to the ‘new blue-ish color grade’.

Yet I’m a little surprised nobody has taken more of an interest in this - even to if just to ask the OP whether there is a pre-new colour grade version available. Or to request some short video clips to demonstrate quality etc.
