Anyone know what this Star Wars crawl title font is?

So, I was rewatching the star wars movies and I noticed TFA has a different font for the subtitle of the movie.

Notice how Return of the Jedi looks a bit bolder. I already have the force awakens font (obviously, it’s pretty generic) but I was wondering if anyone knows the name of the font the rest of the films use.

Thanks!

I can’t quite remember for certain - though think for the first six Star Wars films it is a variant of ‘Franklin Gothic Medium Condensed’ (probably in ‘Bold’?). It is also sometimes known as the ‘Univers’ font?

For the Sequel Trilogy… I think it was changed to ‘News Gothic’.

I believe TFA uses the same font as TESB.

The title of TFA, ANH, TESB and TROS is in News Gothic Bold Extra Condensed. The body of the crawl is in News Gothic Bold for all the movies. The title of the Prequels and ROTJ is Univers Ultra Condensed. I believe TLJ uses Univers Ultra Condensed as well, but I don’t know for sure.

TLJ definitely uses something in the Univers font family, but I don’t think it’s the exact same one as the prequels.

The prequels use (correct me if I’m wrong) Univers Lt. 49 condensed, the ROTJ is the same. I have no clue about ANH, ESB or the ST, and the body text, “Episode x” titles, and “…long time ago…” cards are in the Franklin Gothic family

I’m not really that much of a movie purist. I really should’ve thought my name out a bit more.
