The reason you're getting that error when trying to upload to grisan is probably because you're trying to upload your pictures locally. That is, you have the pictures on your hard drive. You have to host them on a website and then upload them to grisan's site. Essentially, the images don't actually reside on grisans server. The images are like links, similar to how these boards show images.

Ok, for starters. Leia isnt wearing a mini skirt in the poster, and second, the photoshop job you have done looks exactly like that - and a bad one - the angle of the legs doesnt match making her look like she either has a belly, or a dislocated hip.
Those covers are sweet! gotta get them for my set as the ones in the DVD Rom folder on the disc are too much like all of the others.

On another note, Im still working on disc labels, but school and work have picked up lately, so Ive had less time than I hoped to work on things. Hopefully they'll be done soon.

If your school is a college, most times they give every student some web space. Regarding how much web space, I'm sure it depends on the college. When I was in college from 98 to 02, I got 10 mb, but back then, 10 mb wasn't so bad.

Whoah dude - I think people are being a little bit too harsh on Cato. The whole Princess Leia mini-skirt thing was 'orrible, to be sure, but even though his DVD cover kind of sucks I've seen worse.
Cato, there are many excellent resources on the net which can help your design sense and give you insight on how to use filters better to achieve your vision. Keep at it and maybe we'll see great things from you someday - just not quite now.

)If I may make a suggestion based on your sample?
1. First adjust your monitor
a. Set your monitor's color temperature (white point) to 6500K
b. Set your monitor's brightness control (SO misleading - this is really your black level
)c. Set up your viewing light (do not have lights pointed directly or reflections from rear lights)
2. Now, go adjust your television also
Once you do this you'll notice that your demo cover posted above has about four shades of black, PLEASE do keep posting your art as when Lars4mf started this thread that was the intention to show off your works, yes true some are a bit out there and really should not be printed but hey we all have to start somewhere and it's not always pretty.
Keep up the work and I look forward to your covers being added to the Covers Collection!

I'm making a set of chapter inserts and was wondering whether this type of McQuarrie art is available anywhere for Empire and Jedi. I had a tough time appropriate paintings for those two.
