Were there any official VCDs of the One Last Time Release?

I have an official VCD of the 97 Special Editions, but want to know if the theatrical cut was ever officially released on VCD.

Officially… not as far as I know. Unofficially… yes, of course - they were quite popular for a time especially when cheap VCD imports were a thing (cheap and easy to do online from the Far East) for a while before the 2006 OT DVD release.

The likes of Nathan Butler, Video Collector and projectcclarke would likely know a lot more about these kind of releases than me - it may be worth asking them mate.

I once saw the VCD set in Newbury Comics and almost bought it.

It had a nice box and even looked official the discs were factory pressed.

Only did i find out years later that the set was a bootleg.

I think it uses the pan and scan Hong Kong Laserdisc as a video source but i’m not a hundred percent sure of that. The 1995 faces transfer.
