If you like JJ better, RJ’s chapter is gonna stand out as the spoiled meat in the sandwhich. And if you like RJ, JJ seems like he slapped pop tarts on either side of roast beef.

Late to the party but I love this analogy.

I dunno… I feel like Pop Tarts is exceptionally generous to Mr. Abrams…

No, it’s an apt analogy for something manufactured and artificial that feels really good in the moment, but doesn’t hold up in the long term.

Would say the Sandwich analogy feels more like an open-faced one.
-Start with decent, if somewhat boring, safe bread as a base.
-Add strange meat that tastes different, not really bad but definitely not the usual for this type of sandwich…
-Overpour super-strong sauce, a house mixture of spicy, sweet, sour, and stale all the same time.

Eat it and feel strangely unsatisfied and go finish the meal at the new restaurant, Mando’s.

Oh man I’m so excited about the chef’s next three-course meal! I hear he really thought this one over, but we’ll see if it triumphs that amazing first dinner!

Appetizer: Generic Ceasar Salad.
What? I know this chef is really good, why so simple? Shouldn’t he be doing something that I can’t get everywhere else?

Entree: So the Chef accommodates with a super experimental fusion of International Cuisine.
What? I know I wanted something special, but this is too weird. I came here expecting Italian, why am I eating Indian… it’s a neat idea but not for this restaurant!

Desert: So the Chef rolls back and mashes as many sweets and chocolate as possible together for a desert.
What? These toppings don’t work together as well, you just added as many desert items together and expected me to like it because desert!

What’s the equivalent of cheap frozen dinner in this context?

Well, cheap frozen appetiser followed by gourmet main course and then a stale piece of birthday cake?

The Prequels. They come together in a package with a really fancy background but no real substance. The food sounds interesting in concept but turn up completely bland and flavorless. Only the last part is any good.

And you’re still nostalgic for the rush you had as a child when such bland meals seemed exciting because they were shaped like dinosaurs.

Has anyone had success removing the timecode burn-ins from “Finn meets a villager” or “Kylo searches the Falcon” scenes?

I found this a while ago: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_QH0BZEDXP1TkhXcUd0VkF5RFU/view?usp=drivesdk

ForceGhostRecon posted it, so I assume he removed the timecode, but it might’ve been someone else.

I think that is xxtelecine 7xx’s upload mate 😃

Who refers to their dad by their full name like that?

Anyway, wow, that is impressive. A little grainy though.

Someone disassociating and planning to murder their father, I suppose…? Never been in that exact mindset, so I can’t be sure.

Can somebody please add an 84 year old Jar Jar among the civilian fleet?

Honestly, if I knew what a Gungan ship would be, or knew of someone who’s mocked up a cockpit and Jar Jar to be in it, I would add it to my cut. Poor guy gets way more hate than he deserves.

If I had the talent, I’d go full on Darth Jar Jar instead of Sidious. Let’s just embrace the ludicrousness.

Amen.

I’d have respected JJ for just going all-out and risking everything on that kind of twist.

Tons of people would have HATED Darth Jar Jar but a core group would’ve praised the sheer audacity.

I’d have settled for any originality in either of his films.

You know that sort of attitude is how I enjoyed the film in theaters, but somehow, Darth Jar Jar just rubs me the wrong way.
