I had a great little collection, my favourite was the AT-AT… when I left for university back in the 1990’s a charity shop got the lot (i was unaware until I tried looking for them in the attic/garage/shed/buried in the garden) 😦

I think this was designed with book in mind.

Yet still a neat idea for us with collections of dvds, blurays and other smiliar cases:-

Today I realised that my entire collection of Star Wars is little more than this box of Blue Rays, at one point I had the original trilogy on VHS, books, graphic novels, posters, SNES games, a few of the original Kenner figures (Vader, R2-D2, Luke, Obi-Wan, Storm Troopers from Hoth and Endor), but over the years and moving from place to place they have all vanished at one point or other.

I’m kinda sad about that 😢

Also, the box is no longer accurate, thanks for nothing Disney! 😆

When are you having us all around to watch Star Wars, or Doctor Who, or Indy, or Godzilla? 😉

That is a very cool display room, well done canofhumdingers.

Just one tiny thing; you have lightsabers, but you do not display them on the wall or on a display? Sacrilege! 😃

Thanks!

Yeah I’ve had the sabers on display before but with my most recent rearrangement I put them aside and haven’t figured out what to do with them yet. I like some of the custom vertical wall mounts out there, but we’re currently looking to move so I’m not really wanting to waste my time mounting something to the wall only to have to take it down and patch it in a couple months.

That’s the third one from the right. The third one from the left was the one I was interested in 😉

It contains a fourth VHS cassette called “Classic Creatures: Die Rückkehr der Jedi-Ritter”. Possibly a making of featurette about the ROTJ puppets, ewoks, etc.

Rogue One is redundant. Just play the first mission of DARK FORCES.

Yeah, I thought that’s what it was - my uncle had that release and I remember discovering it as a kid and thinking it was the coolest thing ever. He later gave me the movie tapes from it but the box along with the documentary got lost somewhere and I couldn’t even find any proper pictures of it online - I was almost starting to believe I made it up.

stimmt genau 😃

Thanks benduwan for making me aware that this VHS boxset even exists. 😃 I did not know that until Harmy pointed to it. I managed to purchase the same VHS set in good condition from ebay Kleinanzeigen a few days ago. I really like the white colored font. Until last year i also owned the second VHS set from the left, but i sold it again pretty quickly. The red colored font looks just gross.

How much did you pay for it? I’d love to get one of these as well but I bet they’re going for silly high prices.

It came in a used, but good condition. I paid all in all 26 €. Shipment was included.

I posted some of these in the Star Wars Games thread, but this seems like the more appropriate place going forward. With all the quarantine down time I’ve had in the past few months, I decided to finally start getting into Star Wars: Legion miniatures – the time commitment for painting the 30+ minis in the core set was always a barrier in pre-covid times, but now with nowhere to go, I’m burning through them. Here’s what I’ve painted so far:

Next up will be Leia, Rebel Hoth troopers, and a snowspeeder. After that, I’m planning to pick up Chewie, Veers, Bossk, Rebel Endor commandos, and Imperial scout troopers. At this point, I barely even care if the game is fun; I’m getting plenty of enjoyment just from the painting.
