They’ve arguably played those parts longer than Hayden and Natalie did.

It’s really starting to bug me that there are hundreds of episodes set in the PT with all of the main characters. But seeing the OT characters is like an event or at least a treat, doled out sparingly and grudgingly.

I love Rebels, I do. But what I REALLY want is a weekly show set between Star Wars and Empire with LOTS of good old Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewie!

Right they announced they were doing a new animated series after CW, I thought it was a given that it would be that. The title “Rebels” only further cemented my conviction. Then they through a curveball. This actually the same kind of thing CW would’ve been had it not been for Gearge Lucas insisting it be about Anakin and Obi-Wan. Ahsoka and the Twilight are what’s left of that pitch. I still hope they do a series like the Marvel comics set between ANH and ESB, but I no longer expect it. I think they’ll be moving on to something more ST-centric. Rebels has provide them with a supporting cast that could largely transfer over. Maybe some day…

Besides the low production value it was so dull and short, what was this for exactly?

As far as I can tell, it’s just an innocuous saturday morning cartoon made for children kind of in the vain of Ewoks or Droids. I don’t get a lot of the outrage over it myself. I think it’s fine. If I was like 7 I’d probably love it, as I did with the '03 Clone Wars back in the day.

Luke astro-projects himself to Salt Lake Planet, gets shot at by gorilla walkers, has a non-lightsaber duel with Darth Millennial, then dies of a broken heart, inspiring broom boys throughout the galaxy to get creative with their sweeping. - DuracellEnergizer

Seems like Mark Hamill is voicing Luke.

Surprisingly an enjoyable watch. Mark voices ESB Luke very well considering the passage of time.

In an alternate Universe, they also get Hamill to dub all Luke’s lines in the NPR Return of the Jedi radio drama… well one can dream! 😉

yeah, Mark was great. it wasn’t possible to completely disguise the fact that his voice has aged, but i am glad they didn’t choose a different voice actor.

^especially given the fact that the guy doing him in Battlefront II isn’t even close. It’s a shame they couldn’t get Frank Oz to do it too.

I wonder why it is always so difficult to get someone to mimic Carrie’s voice. The Ford impression was good here. Even on Rebels, the Leia voice actor just wasn’t great.

Has anyone seen Forces of Destiny DVD or Blu-ray cover art?

Author

There is a simple fan-made French language cover on google - with a lot of poster art for this series on google images (and likely Star Wars art sites) to be able to make your own custom cover, matt1618?

Why would there be one?

There is a Forces of Destiny Volume 1 WalMart-exclusive DVD from 2017 that was packaged with Blu ray and DVD sets of Rogue One, The Force Awakens, the prequel trilogy, the original trilogy and The Complete Saga. I’m wanting to put that disc in it’s own case on my shelf 😃

I see what you mean, I guess custom cover art would be the way to go.
