Duel of the fates in the new tv spot got me so pumped! Each new second of footage takes away any doubts I have about this movie

But the Palpatine return is a real problem.
If the Rey thing is true, that makes it even worse.

Every new clip or TV spot just cements it further.
90+% on the money.
We even got the weird report, now proven true in the TV spot, about the giant floating cube on Exogol.

The request for the dying Star Wars fan to see the film was a public one (an open tweet) - apparently word quickly got to Bob Iger (or his people) who seemingly acted promptly so the dying fan could see it.
I imagine Disney / Lucasfilm / people connected to the films would still be fielding requests - or likely coming in for some criticism - if they had not acknowledged these requests / given an update?

I actually think it’s when Rey gives it to her after feeling “unworthy,” which supposedly was done using the unused shot from the second TFA trailer of Maz handing the saber to Leia.

The unfortunate reality of the Star Wars prequel and Disney trilogies is that they will always be around. Forever. They will never go away. It can never be undone.

I’m so glad they made the ST. When I recently re-watched the OT I could not help but think “This doesn’t make any sense! Men can’t solve anything! Palpatine would never be defeated by a couple of stupid men. Only a SIW could possible defeat him!”

Leia is awesome of course; especially in SW77. Mon Mothma is nothing - her name not even spoken in the OT. You only get it in the credits. Why didn’t they just have Leia as the leader of the RA? She was positioned as such towards the end of SW77.
