The Nostalgia thread

A thread for looking back at movies, books, etc from one’s childhood and seeing whether they stand the test of time or not. I’ll start, Megamind is not as good as when I saw it back in 10.

The Clone Wars back in 2008. Geez, that show has been replaying inside my head everyday for over 10 years I kid you not. Dragon Ball Z Kai on CW4Kids back in 2010. I remember being shaken to the core after watching Genisis of the Daleks and The Caves of Androzani back in 2013.

Honestly, the only thing I can think of from my childhood that I’ve revisited and hasn’t held up is Drawn to Life. Couldn’t even finish the first game as a teenager. Too boring. Most of the stuff I do revisit holds up just fine. Then again, people say I act like a kid, with the tastes that go with it.

Do not DM me for edits. Whatever you’re looking for I don’t have it.

Gonna be doing a review video that compares the Blu ray and dvd releases of Batman The Animated Series.

I’m just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe.

Star Wars has 3 eras: The eras are 1977-1983(pre Expanded Universe), (1983-2014) expanded universe, or (2014- now) Disney-bought version. Each are valid.

My movie reviews aren’t AI, they’re just written by someone who’s Neurodivergent. If you don’t like them, then simply don’t read them.

Goof Troop is pretty good.

I never had the nerve to make the final cut.
