The best way to print Blu-ray covers?

I’ve been trying my best to print my own blu-ray covers but they either come out cut off on the edges or resized too small. I use Adobe Acrobat Reader for my PDF files. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

There may be some threads of interest and help about this (and printing tips and assistance) in the Index thread, mate.

Usually, it’s because Adobe Reader has a default of ‘Fit to Printable Area’ - untick or deselect this option, and also check to see if there any margins being used that could result in your image being resized.

This guide below explains it far better than I can (I think you can ignore the paper size content)

Good luck with it mate - hope it works for you 😃

In addition to oojason’s suggestions, I’d also recommend using legal sized paper instead of letter sized for covers, as some printers can’t print close enough to the margins on letter paper.

Jumping in with a question of my own: does anyone have advice for disc artwork if you don’t own a printer that can print directly onto discs? Any recommendations for print shops that can reliably handle this? I’ve poked around online and most services I can find only work in large batches of discs.

Alternatively, are stick-on labels really as bad as their reputation suggests (certainly not ideal, but as an alternative to dropping a few hundred dollars on a new printer)?
