I do not think I played another game on the Gameboy. Just Tetris on it, and took turns with the rest of the family - from grandparents to younger children.
The infernal music is coming back to me! Argh!
This is the thread for discussing Toys and memorabilia not related to Star Wars.
Rules:
No talking about Star Wars toys, there is a section for that.
Don’t go off topic too much.
Have fun!
When’s something gonna happen?
My favorite toys growing up were Brio trains and a Rokenbok set.
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
Subbuteo for me - was given a team of Liverpool players, a generic team for the opposition and made the rest up (pitches, goals, corner flags etc) out of whatever I had to hand or could use my imagination on. Doing a few household chores etc got me a few pennies so later bought a goal and a ‘proper’ pitch.
The rich kids had stands, and floodlights, multiple & special edition teams, refs, trophies etc - though always thought they lost out on something not using other fun non-subbuteo stuff first… 😃

All that went out of the window after this one Christmas…
