I must be old fashioned to be shocked at hearing a young girl drop about a dozen or so F bombs at a companion passing outside in the street tonight. Used to only take one to get the soap!
Yeah, that gets on my nerves too. When the word is used in between every other word, it kind of loses its effect. Like, it’s supposed to emphasize something, but when you overuse it I kind of just tune it all out.
But what the fuck was she supposed to do otherwise?

I use it with everyone, too. A coworker once overheard my side of a cordial phone call in which every other word was fuck, or the other f-word that’s apparently unspeakable now, or shit, or motherfucker, or some other cuss word. Once I hung up the phone he asked who I was talking to and I told him that it was my mom. He couldn’t believe it.
