I can’t imagine Superman '78 without her. Her Lois is still the definitive portrayal for me. In some ways she’s the bridge character for the audience and her reactions to the guy flying around in blue tights and a cape are so genuine.

Margot had the guts to call out the producers on their BS firing Richard Donner on Superman II, though they got back at her reducing her role to a cameo in III.
With her mental health issues, I hope she found some peace in the past few years.

I’m not really sure.

JEDIT: Google says no, it isn’t, but I don’t recognize the names of anyone else listed.

The news of TotalBiscuit’s passing is truly heartbreaking, knowing what’s been leading up to this.

Anthony Bourdain. Apparently hanged himself in his hotel room while on location for his show.

This one hit hard for me. He was a big inspiration, and I hoped to one day visit a tiny fraction of the places he’s been and made so inviting for his viewers.

😦

JEDIT to add one of my favorite quotes of his:

Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.

I read about that. Can’t say I’ve ever knowingly listened to their music, but it’s a huge shame.

Not enough people read the EU.

If you like a bit of blues-based music - or some relaxing yet compelling guitar work, then some of their early work is well worth a listen to.

Over the years they’ve covered a wide range of various music - much of it pretty good (in my humble opinion).

Early Fleetwood Mac (Peter Green era and Phase II) are under-appreciated by the masses. There was a lot of great stuff before the 2nd self-titled album and Rumours (Buckingham/Nicks era).

I feel so old.

How come? It’s not like not listening to Fleetwood Mac is just restricted to 16 year olds.

Somehow Fleetwood Mac was a band I never listened to either.

Because there was a time when radio was omnipresent and Fleetwood Mac was one of those bands that was always on it.
