I just downloaded and examined my Facebook archive data and other than some embarrassing old messages I sent to and received from friends through Facebook, they had nothing disturbing about me. This is coming from someone who didn’t take extra special care to protect myself, but also never consciously gave them information either. (They had absolutely no contact or phone info and I have used Facebook on my phone before.) If you use facebook like me you probably shouldn’t worry, but I’d urge you to download your archive.

I used to watch him frequently. I watched the Angry Video Game Nerd back when AVGN first started, and then started watching Nostalgia Critic when they had the The Wizard crossover.

But my interest in both have long since waned in the extreme. AVGN is too vulgar, and NC is often too purile and crude. Especially now that there is a wider selection of YouTubers. When AVGN was first popular, it was because there was no one else who did what he does.

And like DE, now with this my interest in Nostalgia Critic will have dropped to zero.

Until quite recently, he was never on Youtube. He had his own site.

There’s no way that Channel Awesome or That Guy with the Glasses, or whatever the hell they’re called, will be able to recover from this. They lost dozens of their contributors in this walkout. It looks like the CEO is facing the sex assault allegations, the Nostalgia Critic (Doug Walker) is facing negligence allegations, and the brother of the Nostalgia Critic is facing some really tough allegations of mismanagement and negligence. What a freak show.

I used to like NC, but I got tired of his content, and the only CA contributor I really watched anymore was Linkara, and he finally left a couple weeks ago I think. I read the whole Google doc put out by former contributors of all the abuse/harassment/negligence and it was all pretty ridiculous. I’m glad they’re finally falling apart after apparent years of this.

Yeah, I still like some of his tamer stuff. Like the video trying to make sense of the Zelda Timeline.
