I don’t necessarily disagree, but being so invested in Kylo Ren, I want to know more about the Snoke/Kylo backstory. And now that Snoke is dead, I think we’re less likely to get that. Who Snoke is and where he comes from is useless information to me and irrelevant to the series as a whole. But understanding how Ben was seduced to the dark side by him is an essential plot point that needs more exploration, at least for me. Knowing that is essential, (again) for me personally, to coming to terms with Luke’s drastic change in character from 6 to 7/8.

Still so disappointed in the luke we got. Super lame. I wanted luke to do some really epic lightsaber fighting stuff or like he could destroy a whole planet wiith the force that would be really cool. this is what the fans really wanted

Well the audio on the digital version on Amazon is garbage. Picture looks great but the audio was horrible. It was a simple 2.0 mixdown and wasn’t even Dolby surround compatible. Had no bottom and no power at all. I know not alot of people use Dolby surround any more, but if you have to present it in 2.0 anyway is there really any reason not to? Ffs theres free software that does it automatically with a few clicks. And even besides it being surround compatible that way down mixing it properly would have eliminated the dull and powerless feel, unless it was there originally. The 2.0 laser disc mixes for the oot sound better.(Well for esb and rotj anyway)

Anyone who cares about quality shouldn’t be purchasing digital copies.

True, although the picture was pretty good. Not as good as the bluray will be for sure. I should have just waited though.

The idea that Rian doesn’t think Snoke is interesting is just as deliberate a misunderstanding as Frink’s.
