Is it me or is Governor Pryce kinda top heavy, if you know what I mean?

Just finally watched it. Apparently now we have the answer as to why Leia was absolutely ok post-mind probe torture.

I loved… SPOILERS BELOW

how they sent Kanan off. It was pretty emotional. When Chopper and Hera held hands I got close to crying.

Agree with joefavs though, the Rukh thing was bullshit at its best. He’s been a very bad and pointless addition to the series so far.

Very much enjoyed those latest 2 episodes (12 & 13) - quality stuff 😃

I never really like the Mortis stuff and this was more of the same. Looking forward to the finale though. We get the return of Rex and Kallus and the fate of Lothal. Hopefully Dollar Store Knockoff Luke dies.

It seems like people are really embracing the new characters. In fact, the big question people ask me now about Star Wars is, “Are Finn and Poe gay lovers?” And really how the f*ck would I know? My second husband left me for a man, so my gaydar isn’t exactly what you’d call Death Star level quality. ----Carrie Fisher

I was pleasantly surprised last night to hear Malcolm McDowell’s voice on the two episodes!! I had not read anywhere that he was going to be on there. And to hear the voice of the man who actually played Palpatine, Ian McDiarmid, was a great treat!! It’s sad that next Monday night is the final 3 episodes. What an adventure this has been.

One thing I like about the Star Wars saga are the planets, especially the ones wet with rain, hahaha! Kamino, Eadu, and Ach-To - all three of them have enormous amounts of rain, it seems. 😃

They really got all Interstellar with the timeline in that last one. Any ideas where REDACTED ended up?

I would presume back where and when Ezra pulled her from, except Vader already left. Fast forward to Ezra’s present, maybe hanging low somewhere else in the Galaxy.

Okay, I am coming at this as someone who reads this thread, reads news about Rebels, but has never actually watched Clone Wars or Rebels.

(and yes, I know, I know, I’m missing out on some of the best Star Wars ever. I might get around to it, but I hardly watch anything at all)

Wouldn’t it make a lot of sense for “What comes next” to be the new-canon version of the Legends Thrawn trilogy? They’ve introduced Thrawn, they’ve introduced Noghri, and only one film left in the ST makes it a perfect time to start telling post-ROTJ stories.

It’s possible, granted Thrawn survives Rebels (we have one episode left to see). There’s already some post-ROTJ content (Battlefront 2017, the Aftermath series) that a Thrawn series would have to be made compatible with, and I don’t know how feasible that is.

I’d love to see something set between episodes 6 and 7, explaining how did we get from the victory of the Rebellion and the defeat of the Empire, to the New Order and the new Rebellion. Preferably with Mark Hamill voicing Luke

I wonder if part of the delay in announcing this is because maybe it ties to the fate of some of these characters?

Could likely be that mate - good call… 😃

While I won’t spoil much (yet), I just wanted to say that I thought the finale was terrific, and can’t wait to see where they go next with the next series they are planning!

Regardless of what the future holds, the series finale I just saw was EXCELLENT. I won’t spoil it for anyone, but there were definitely some surprises at the end of it that you just have to see for yourself. It ended in such a way that will give the fans a satisfied feeling, I hope. MTFBWY

Loved the finale. People who didn’t like the new parts of the force and the filler episodes certainly will have reservations of how it all ties together.

However, avoiding spoilers but I CAN NOT WAIT for them to start the next series.

I was quite satisfied with the finale, really liked it. I love that they brought back you know what from you know which episode.

I must say though if the end was a set up for the next series, I’m not sure how I feel about that.

I really enjoyed the episodes up until the epilogue.

I’ve been a big fan of Rebels and I think the finale was perfect. Rebels compliments and enhances the Original Trilogy in much the same way Rogue One does.

How long before spoilers can be discussed openly?

Finally seen it. I wasn’t a huge fan of the first 3 seasons, they were OK but much worse than Clone Wars, but the 4th season was the best one. And the last bunch of episodes, absolutely beautiful.

I have a non-spoiler question - is the bearded guy in Return of the Jedi actually Rex?
Also it’s pretty obvious what will the new show be about 😃 I can’t wait!

I’d say it’s very heavily implied, but it’s not technically confirmed. So it’s really up to you to decide if it was or not.

It seems likely that the new show will be about [redacted]. At first I was pretty disappointed by this, mainly because I want the new show to be about all new characters (and one of these existing ones I don’t care much for). But then I had the thought, what if this isn’t going to be the only new show? I’d be pretty okay with this concept if we had an additional animated show running alongside it.
