Well, I don’t know in the US, but there is a Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit in the UK.

Moreover, 2 or 3 years ago, the City of London police has placed advertisements on websites that offered pirated content illegally.

It seems that the same kind of police exists in the US (https://torrentfreak.com/u-s-anti-piracy-police-kept-secret-from-the-public-110811/)

So maybe it is not as obvious as that…

In the United States its one year in prison for a bootleg.

Thank you for this information.
My point is: the fact that it is a civil matter does not prevent the police from having it in its attributions, in the UK anyway. Is it different in the US ?

Its Not that diffrent when it comes to laws.

Now I’m a little bit confused…

The situation in eBay is the worst I have seen in ages. There are 8 seperate listings on eBay UK right now from 3 different sellers. Reported.

He has a website too
Link to website removed by moderator - let’s not give them the publicity they wish for.

Here is his eBay user page, just report all 3 of his listings
https://www.ebay.com/usr/www.trilogybluray.tk

I’m not sure what is worse, the image quality on the photos or the fact that he is selling them?

Reported all of them - only took a few minutes.

Hopefully others will report them too…

This is just a little mock-up I thought of.
It’s clearly inspired by the FBI warning screen.
Before you ask about the doughnut I will say this
When I was a kid, i believe about 3. I thought the
round FBI logo looked like a doughnut. So I just put it in.

Okay here’s the updated version
https://sdthumbs.ui-static.net/thumb/_/02.41105721.51.jpg?h=dJnp4_BRL9hN3Q2RUMofnA&e=1518130800&cmd=scale&height=1033&width=2143
My thought was the people that made fan projects could
tack a logo like this on the front and back of their projects.
This way if somebody downloaded a fan project with the intention of selling it.
They could not simply just burn discs and sell them without the disk containing this logo.
They would have to bring the files into a video editor cut out the logo from both sides.
and then convert back to a burnable image. Not something that a really dedicated pirate
could not do but a mild deterrent for uninformed people. Please note though this is just
a mock-up I do not own the rights to the donut image. I just quick searched donuts on
Google images and picked one.

Thank you for this list, but it could be counterproductive IMHO: this list could advertise or promote these sellers, facilitate their accessibility and improve their referencing.

Wtf, how did he get it “sealed”?

I work at a Party City and we sell giant rolls of cello wrap. It isn’t hard to wrap things in it, you just have to be good at wrapping and gluing. What would be REALLY impressive is if they were shrink wrapped.

Luke astro-projects himself to Salt Lake Planet, gets shot at by gorilla walkers, has a non-lightsaber duel with Darth Millennial, then dies of a broken heart, inspiring broom boys throughout the galaxy to get creative with their sweeping. - DuracellEnergizer

Not really, I used to work at a place that sold software and we had a cheap, off the shelf, shrink wrap machine. It was basically just a bunch of cellophane bags, open at one end that we’d put the boxes in, and then use the attached “hair dryer” like device to shrink it and seal it. Took just a few seconds. I’m sure anyone can buy these replacement bags and use a household hairdryer to do the same thing.
