You know what to do… find out if the film critic organisation uses photo ID, pop around your friend of a friend’s house, apologise for the laxatives you give him, disconnect his communication devices, and then steal his ID. It’s the only way…

Got my ticket for 9:15 Friday morning. I’d like to drink some coffee (which is unusual for me) ahead of time, in order to build up a sense of stress and panic. But I won’t have any companions with me to save my seat when I try to visit the bathroom during trailers. Maybe I’ll refrain from liquid intake altogether that morning, and bring a dark chocolate bar.

i never considered that you could go that early in the morning to a movie… have you done this before for an opening? just curious what it is like. i don’t think i could deal with trailers at that time of the day.

^ I haven’t seen any non-Star Wars films in the theater for at least a few years, in all seriousness. The earliest showing Friday was the only one I could do while still preserving my work schedule for the day. 😃
Got my tickets for the 10:30 pm IMAX showing Thursday night. Hopefully the county will be less of a smokey fire ravaged apocalyptic wasteland by then.
Given the length of the film plus who knows how many trailers in front, I think I’ll forgo any beverages. 😉
