Tom Arnold had better not being yanking people’s chains with this.

I find it impossible to believe that there isn’t something somewhere on Trump, given the way he proudly talks about creeping on women and young girls. I’m only surprised something beyond the p***y-gate tape hasn’t surfaced yet.

However, even if it’s as bad as Arnold is suggesting, are we sure Trump won’t just get away with it, like he has with everything else?

He just says “nope, wasn’t me” and his terrible supporters will either believe him over their eyes and ears, or they’ll ignore it because hey Supreme Court judges.

Yeah, we’ll just tolerate a little sexual harassment because it will go away if we ignore it and we could get another Clarence Thomas… oops.

Don’t you mean dull surprise?

And wasn’t that O’Keefe guy staring down some jail time for trying to pull some shenanigans on a member of congress? He’s not as smart as he thinks he is, which will ultimately be his undoing.

https://www.politico.com/story/2017/11/28/schumer-pelosi-cancel-meeting-with-trump-262853

House and Senate Democratic leaders on Tuesday abruptly withdrew from a scheduled White House meeting about averting a government shutdown after President Donald Trump publicly slammed them and cast doubt on the negotiations.

Trump tweeted early Tuesday that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) “want illegal immigrants flooding into our Country unchecked, are weak on Crime and want to substantially RAISE Taxes,” adding, “I don’t see a deal!”

Pelosi and Schumer responded by canceling their plans to meet with Trump and GOP leaders to discuss a deal to keep the government open, raising the prospects of a shutdown as government funding expires next week.

“Given that the president doesn’t see a deal between Democrats and the White House, we believe the best path forward is to continue negotiating with our Republican counterparts in Congress instead,” Pelosi and Schumer said in a joint statement.

Good. Screw Trump and his temper tantrums.

“Democrats are putting government operations, particularly resources for our men and women on the battlefield, at great risk by pulling these antics,” McConnell and Ryan said in a statement. “There is a meeting at the White House this afternoon, and if Democrats want to reach an agreement, they will be there.”

Hahaha. Hypocrites.

It bugs my bones that Americans associate separatism with white supremacist ideals and slavery.

Are you talking about modern day America, or that of the Civil War era? Civil War era separatism was motivated by white supremacy and slavery. Any modern day separatism is foolish in general, regardless of motivation.

I wholeheartedly believe that sooner rather than later this country will split into an increasing number of successor republics. I am certain that some of those, particularly the states that emerge in the Southeast, will be pretty much like apartheid states, even more so than the US is currently. However I would expect better of the states that arise in the North and the West.

No. We already fought a civil war to decide whether states could secede, and the Confederacy lost. Even if white supremacists want(ed) to secede their home states from the rest of the nation, they can’t.

I do not doubt for a second that the Civil War centered around slavery.

But countries come and go. A more decentralized, non-capitalistic model of socio-political/econonic organization is whats needed for the people here. I do not advocate for reaching towards any sort of utopia, as down that road lies a heap of atrocities regardless of the specific vision to which the utopianists in question aspire. I simply think that the US 50 state model has outlived its usefulness and that it is about time for world history to proceed under the aegis of the Eastern powers, China and India.

I do not pay attention to this daily dithering about with what this Congressman said or what that party chair said or did, as such things are just losing sight of the forest for the trees. We are seeing the death of the capitalist model and its replacement with something more equitable.

Fun link text, fun story.

http://www.newsweek.com/sanders-likes-horeshit-trump-724412

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a “serial congenital liar” who buries the American people “in an avalanche of horse shit” and must know in her soul that what she’s doing is wrong, a GOP strategist and media consultant said Monday night.

Rick Wilson piled on Sanders after the White House mouthpiece defended Trump’s use of the insult “Pocahontas” during a White House reception honoring the Navajo code talkers, a group of Native American World War II heroes. Sanders said the term was “not a racial slur,” even though Native Americans absolutely see it as one.

Sanders also flipped Trump’s comment into a further attack on Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), the target of Trump’s insult. She repeated Trump’s dubious claim that Warren lied about Native American heritage “to advance her career.”

Wilson found Sanders’ responses to be deplorable, and yet another blow to any integrity she could have left.

“The reason she does that is because her job is contingent upon her being a serial congenital liar in defense of Donald Trump’s latest outrages,” Wilson said on CNN. “I mean, she probably has some tiny, shriveled husk left in her soul where she realizes this is the wrong thing to do. But she does it anyway because otherwise they’ll replace her.”

It’s getting pretty hard to say that Moore will not win this race.

https://medium.com/@ChngRsrch/moore-opens-up-49-44-lead-in-alabama-just-9-of-trump-voters-believe-allegations-against-moore-6d74baa84a68

Alabama Republican Roy Moore has reopened a 49–44 lead over Democrat Doug Jones in the race for U.S. Senate. In Change Research’s third poll since the sexual misconduct allegations against Moore first surfaced on November 9, we found that he has completely erased the 3-point lead Jones had opened up in mid-November. Moore’s lead is now just as large as it was just after the story broke.

I maintain that if Alabama elects this guy, it should be kicked out of the union.
