It seems there is a typo on the ROTJ.

Instead of VI it says IV.

Too bad I printed these out before I noticed it.

Doh!!! Good catch, man! I fixed the original links.

*thinks to self* How did this hapen? I'm smarter than this......apparently not...

Galatians 2: 20: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

That ten disc cover kicks ass.

I'm an idiot. There, I said it. With that being said, I need some help. Everytime I try to print out a DVD Cover it is too small. The height works fine but the length is just too short. This is even after I change the settings. I'm assuming there is some small thing I can do that I'm not. Can anyone help me? Also, I have a Dell computer and printer if that helps.

You need 8.5" x 14" LEGAL SIZED paper

If you still have problems, try googling for a program called CoverXP. It's a handy little program that will let you print sleeves to the right size for DVD cases, irrespective of the original images dimensions or resolutions.

Depends on your printer as well. If you have a printer capable of printing to the borders of your paper, you can just make sure the margins are reduced to '0' and the page is set to print in 'landscape' position. Also some printers can be 'tricked' by setting paper size to 'legal' without actually having that size...

I'm trying to design my own covers, and any help would be much appreciated.
What I'm looking for is a high-resolution picture of either:
1. A split screen bit with Hayden's head on the left and Vader's helmet on the right.
or
2. A full body split screen with Hayden on the left and Vader on the right.

If anyone knows of any such thing (I'm currently trying to create my own), and could link me to it, I'd be very appreciative.

Tell me what you think, what works, what does'nt, if it's ugly as a mule's butt...

A high res version on the art on the cover would be much appreciated!

There is an awsome guide on everything dvd and discart related on how to create, size and print them correctly - there's a fair chance of it being somewhere amongst these very 50+ odd pages in this thread. IIRC it may have been Rikter who posted the guide, though this was a long, long time ago...

PapaVader - nice work, I really like the drawn style of pics on the front cover (similar to Spidernap's MagnoliaFan covers) - and the lack of black ink used there is always a bonus when printing

A little patience goes a long way on this old-school Rebel base. If you are having issues finding what you are looking for, these will be of some help…

Yeah, Kev, it is pretty good. I just wish that didn't use that filter on the front.

Papa Vader - Good work on the cover!
I don't have that particular art in high res, but this art (made by the same artist) might interest you

It's easier to see if you download it. It's all filtered so it looks like an oil painting. You can notice it if you look closely at the preview picture there.

It is different, that's for sure. I like the composition of the art and the layout, but the transition of the black to the sketch is odd. I would have a smoother transition, and duo-tone the sketch part to something antique looking. The effects on the logo may be a bit much as well.... but not bad.

Wow a critique from one of the best! I am most honored! Thanks Coov!

I am still a beginner at Image manipulation and welcome you input very much!
I'm sorry, but I do not fully grasp what you mean with "duo-tone" (being French-Canadian and all )... Is it something like sepia toning just so the composition as a little more colours? Or is it something else entirely?

What I am going for with the Logo is definitely a steel look but I admit that Kpt4000 goes a little overboard with the details! I will look for a texture that suits me better...

Finaly as a user of PSP9 I do not master the fine art of colour gradation Any tips are welcome!

*drags toe in the sand* Well, AWWW... Shucks!

Yeah, I guess you can call it sepia toning as a comparison, although duo-tones as just simply 2 colors used to create the image and its colors. I am not familiar with PSP9. I use Photoshop CS. The best way to learn is to just dive in and try new things. It is not like you are using oils.... save your work.
