Yeah whoever’s running that site is a real piece of shit. The name sounds somehow familiar though but I can’t place it…

Awww, that’s so noble of them.

Don’t know if it helps or changes anything, but according to this, that site is based in the United Arab Emirates.

The NJVC Custom Bluray Set of Harmy’s Despecialized Editions is available on Mega.

The site may be based in the UAE - though the site says free shipping to/within the USA - overseas buyers add $10…

It looks like, going on that, and that it has a PO Box in Chicago in the ‘Contact’ section, it is being run by someone in the US.

Star wars despecialized? Yes. This particular set with menus and extras? Not to my knowledge.

WOW! What an incredible project. Wish I would have found this before some pricks started distributing this for profit. Idiots. Hoping the files make their way online again. Would really love to make myself a set.

Solkap, a very kind member of the community on here, has made available the njvc Custom BluRay Set of Harmy’s Despecialised Edition up on Mega.

Well in to solkap for doing so, and not only for getting permission from both njvc and Harmy beforehand, but for also putting together a quality and useful guide on how to acquire them - and also on how to burn them to disc too.

The Despecialized Editions are still available in their original format - with details on how to acquire them - in Harmy’s 1st post of each of his threads linked to below…

I hope i am not spamming your thread njvc. let me know if i should move this elsewhere.

Here is what i have done with phildesfr’s covers so far:

(Note, i did these for the 50 GB versions, and haven’t included anything about the Documentary disks)

Star Wars:

Empire Strikes Back:

RETURN OF THE JEDI:

Download includes disc covers and other sides of the insert/leaflet at 300 dpi: https://mega.nz/#F!Y0g13C6A!sHwfcwb09H7VSV0prLUgJg

JEDIT: added ROTJ, and minor updates to all inserts

Those look amazing. BTW, is there by any chance you can do a version of those covers, but with reversed front and back poster art? Or at least, PM me a text only template so I could edit them myself.

Sorry, I no longer have the software, but you can get phildesfr’s templates and do it yourself if you have the software.

Patience pays off. I finally got a BD burner and just burned NJVC’s version of the Despecialized trilogy. Rather than aid these ebay pirates, I did it myself and am the happier for it. Effusive thanks to Harmy, to NJVC for this version, to Hairy Hen (I love reading his posts and I’ve learned so much about the sound mix of my favorite movies).
Can’t wait to get my hands on a BD-50 to check out the Silver Screen edition next. Thanks to all who contributed. May The Force be with you all.

I have a quick question why don’t you use a google drive wouldn’t it be so much easier and you can set to only can view it through links why use this insane process of getting jdownloader or torrenting it

First & foremost is that we need to not make it TOO easy to get these. The copyright holders would be more than capable of shutting all this down permanently if they decided too.

As for google drive, there is nowhere near the space needed. It would take dozens of accounts to hold all the rar files. Size is the same reason many like to use torrents (though I myself do not).

As for as using Jdownloader or FreeRapid Downloader, they are just ways of downloading files concurrently, so as not to takes anymore time than they must. But even then it will take a very long time. You can download all the links one by one with out them, but that would likely take weeks.

Just checking in to say I’m glad people are enjoying this set, and thanks to those that have picked up the torch to continue sharing it with true (non-ebay pirate) fans.

On a separate note, I have recently indulged in a 4K upscaling projector, and my goodness, even at 720p, the image quality of the Despec. edition projected at 160" is something to behold. Star Wars was meant to be viewed big!

Ok that makes sense sorry I’ve seen people complain on comments all the time so I thought by making it easier to download it wouldn’t make it impossible to download for people I don’t think it is but I will upload the files in smaller size via handbrake
