Lads, the wall of sighs was a bit much - however it is understandable as no-one gave Warbler a straight heads-up as to his question re Garland - instead it was seemingly just joke replies, which were replied to in-kind - and then followed by the bunny, and then it escalates further…

Sometimes it pays to help your fellow posters out, and in turn, help yourselves out too - this is a community after all.

Instead, here we are a few pages on still talking about this - with tempers frayed, people pissed off with each other, going in circles.

Meanwhile there is actually some interesting events taking place in politics across the world right now…

There are some interesting things to come out of the release so far - like the British journalist receiving a heads-up ‘for some big news’ 25 minutes before the assassination occurred:-

You’re correct, the story was reported years ago - though nothing from the British Secret Service being involved in looking into the call etc until now (I think).

In any case, apparently of the 3,100 documents involved in the JFK files, 300 were were redacted and/or omitted. So apparently the other 2,800 documents do nothing to stop the Grassy Knoll theory?

You know, the public doesn’t have to know everything about what the intelligence community does. Regardless of it being over a half-century ago. I think the media is just bummed that there isn’t much in the way of “breaking” news.

A pertinent question would be why were these 2,800 files classified (until now)?

And would the other 300 files - even if released today - answer the questions to which many seek? Likely not…

(possibly those 300 files may contain working protocols and policies still in place today, or possibly names and locations still in use, of which could be linked or other cases & events - so could well be the reason as to them still being redacted or omitted?)
