Pissing all over symbols and representations of what young men bled and died for directly in front of veterans who are just trying to enjoy a ball game is no where near as bad?

The Westboro clowns are just paid performance artists. There’s no sincerity in what they do.

It’s all designed to divide 50/50 and infuriate every one against every one so when the internet goes down by foreseeable event or the killswitch we will have maximum culling.

To be honest Warbler, some may be struggling as to why you brought up the Westboro Baptists into this right now - unless you are trying to equate the protests of Westboro Baptists to the protests that occurred today?

For me, kneeling in this manner honours both the anthem and what it symbolises - yet is still an effective form of protest.

It is obvious in this case, the intent is protest.

 

On a slightly different tangent I would say this criticism of NFL players protesting is quite a classic case of Trump deflecting away from the purpose of the protests - the causes of them, his inaction and and unwillingness to engage on the matter at hand…

I wonder why that is, and seems to be the case on a lot of political points during his term as President thus far?

I wish he would have kept his big mouth shut about the anthem thing.
