Unfortunately, I haven’t seen one iota of evidence that people who voted for Trump feel any differently now than they did then. In fact, I think his base of supporters is at least as strong now as it was during the election. They appear to like his orders and his behavior, and think he is doing a great job.

Mika and Joe are two data points. They were definitely solidly behind Candidate Trump, back before they had to deal with President Trump. I mean, voting records are secret and all, but Joe did personally advise Trump and they both fluffed the campaign all year long.

Admittedly, they may very well be the only two.

Trump right now has a 39% approval rating. People with numbers that low typically don’t win — most presidents that have been re-elected have their approval rating around 50% when re-elected. People who did not vote last time might vote in do-over now that there’s a call to action.

Also that poll was conducted two months ago.

I hope you’re right. I also wonder what some of the democrats’ approval ratings are right now.

As of this moment Democrats have an eight point lead over Republicans in mid-term generic ballot polls.

This YouGov poll has a large amount of info on a broad set of political topics.

I don’t really feel anything anymore.
