So, I notice the home page hasn't had any news or been updated since forever. Why not remove it and just point the domain straight at the forums page? Surely that's better than making it look like the site is dead?

Just a thought.

Nah, it was just an April Fool’s joke post.

Cool the decade old stuff is gone. Might be handy to have something about the 40th up there rather than a page where the first link has the word torrent on it though…

If you click on the ‘About’ or ‘Help’ button on the top bar of the site you can still see the old ‘News’ button too - just a heads-up for our busy mods/overlords 😉

We might have to rename this sub forum a tad, since the petition is about as lively as a Norwegian Blue.

Nice to see an improved first impression. Was that stuff archived? I’d be interested in maybe a retrospective on the GOUT release, and that stuff played a pivotal role.

If Jay doesn’t have it on a site backup somewhere, archive.org ought to have a snapshot or two of it.

In the two years you have been a member here - despite reading the ‘do’s and dont’s’ - you are honestly no closer to finding the Despecialised Editions on here?

There would seems to be a fair few threads for Harmy’s superb Despecialized Editions on here - where this matter -
along with other questions - are addressed.

Those threads would likely be a better for continuing this conversation - and trying to find solutions to your problem than in a thread called ‘originaltrilogy.com ‘home’ page’, yes?

😃
