His weakest LP to date but that in no way diminishes this great album. Sonically this may be the best and most consistent project he has put out but lyrically it wasn’t exactly what I wanted. I wanted the young bull to just spit regularly a little more. I also don’t feel that his lyrics are as sharp as they once was.

I own the first four or five Primus albums but I’ve really lost interest in them over the past several years.

Well, you can always give those albums another listen, with “fresher” ears.

I mean every time I’ve listened to one over the last few years I’ve been less interested in doing it again. The only way I could have fresher ears is to stay away for a few years.
