Great work! You've inspired me to see if I can whip up my own versions- maybe I'll even print up a booklet of scholarly snippets to include! And as a big Criterion fan, I love the numbering homage on the spine! Very cool!

Pretty cool.

Do you have this in a larger version?

Hi & welcome Cassidy

Cool cover m8 - I like that you chose ObiWan for the front cover

A little patience goes a long way on this old-school Rebel base. If you are having issues finding what you are looking for, these will be of some help…

I LOVE what you did with the ObiWan picture!

- I think that these (once complete) will be the 4th "Criterion" styled DVD cover - I used "The Unauthorized Collection" on my covers

NOT to hijack your thread but here's a sample of my "What if" Dr. Gonzo Covers...

hmmmmmmmmmmm....

Wouldn't it be cool if GL decieded that the OT would be on Criterion discs? (like the Kurosawa Criterion DVD's)

I don't think Lucas would want to risk seeing that version outsell the current DVDs.

TheCassidy, it just occured to me. Why do you have it as " George Lucas' Star Wars"? As far as I know, this version doesn't exist to him anymore.

This is really a wonderful idea. Both covers evoke 1977, which is as it should be. Does Criterion solicit suggestions like they did back in the good old days?
