I am actually not all that confident that we will get the announcement. Being disappointing this many times has made me lose hope. And Lucasfilm can no longer ignore the desire for the OOT. This is their perfect chance. If they don’t take it, I don’t know if they ever will. At least a man as amazing as Harmy exists 😃

Also the Saga BD was pre-Disney.
True, but my point was that Lucasfilm continued selling it that way well after the Disney deal.

I think that a theatrical re-release is going to be announced tomorrow, at the least. I’m not going to get my hopes up, but Disney would be stupid not to do this now. It’s the perfect time to do so, at an event for the most hardcore SW fans on the 40th anniversary of the original Star Wars.

My mind is beginning to run rampant again with thoughts of TLJ. There are so many interesting and unique directions they could go with the story it’s crazy to even ponder the possibilities.
As it pertains to the trailer I think they’re only going to have Luke in one shot but damn them if they do that. I yearn to see that majestic beard of his and it’s a waste of a trailer if they don’t showcase it in at least 2 shots.

It seems like people are really embracing the new characters. In fact, the big question people ask me now about Star Wars is, “Are Finn and Poe gay lovers?” And really how the f*ck would I know? My second husband left me for a man, so my gaydar isn’t exactly what you’d call Death Star level quality. ----Carrie Fisher

When we get an official release of the OOT I imagine 😉
(I’d love there to be one, I imagine most on here would too, but I’m good with the Harmy DeSpecialized Editions - and the great work going on with the 35mm prints on here too.)

It’s pretty obvious. The thread title says “Celebration 2017 Speculation”. I asked a question about Celebration 2017 speculation. I then had three people, including the thread owner, and yourself, ask why I would ask a question about Celebration 2017 Speculation, in a thread called Celebration 2017 Speculation.
