So are we still maintaining the narrative that Trump Tower was not under surveillance?
I posted about four pages back that Trump Tower was under surveillance, but that Obama didn’t order it, Trump wasn’t the target, and all normal investigative procedures were followed (warrants, etc). There were lots of people in that tower, including a bunch of Russian mobsters running a money laundering operation. You can’t exclude a whole tower full of suspects from legal surveillance just because one of the residents might someday decide to run for President.
How you got from there to Trump Tower was not under surveillance is beyond me.

I wasn’t targeting or harassing anyone for comments made prior to my post. It was simple joking sarcasm. The same reason everyone else uses the wink.
Please, don’t suggest something … say it, or don’t suggest it. Things have been going nicely and I don’t want to see that go to pot over some “suggestion”.

I guess I’m going to have to start labeling each one I use because I don’t want to get trolled about nothing and end up with a perma-ban because I stood up for myself because someone complained about me doing so.

Devin Nunes Confirms Surevillance Of Trump Transition team - Press Conference (3/22/2017)
House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes (R-CA) confirms that members of President Trump’s transition team were under surveillance in November, December, and January. He says he believes the incidental surveillance was legally obtained and, from what he has seen so far, it uncovered nothing regarding communications with Russia. They cannot yet confirm that it was done legally.
It was not revealed to Congress that it was happening and at this point no-one has come forward as to who unmasked the names of those people and leaked them, as it is now a Federal crime for leaking those names.

I don’t know Rep. Schiff’s background, but if he’s using the term “circumstantial evidence” in the legal sense and not the layman’s sense, we’re in danger of seeing a few more people accidentally falling off buildings. “More than circumstantial” is actually quite a lot.

Schiff told The Daily Beast’s Tim Mak that he has seen “more than circumstantial evidence” of collusion between Russian officials and the Trump campaign. “I don’t to want go into specifics, but I will say that there is evidence that is not circumstantial, and it very much worthy of investigation,” he further told MSNBC’s Chuck Todd

I read the article Donald Trump Jr. was referencing and London’s Mayor did indeed say … Sadiq Khan has said he believes the threat of terror attacks are “part and parcel of living in a big city” and encouraged Londoners to be vigilant to combat dangers.
The comment starts off the article.
So it’s kinda weird that the New York Times would twist the narrative against a Trump and it would get quoted here as factual? Now, I cannot say why Donald Trump Jr. decided to point out the irony of the comment to the person who said it but I would guess that he felt that since someone made the comment about the New York incident they should remember what they said before saying anything about their own terrorist incident?
I don’t have the answers, just the original article quoted, to show that the tweet was not some crappy random comment from a Trump relative.

From what I’ve seen of Jr in the past (long before the Presidential run) he always gives you the feeling that his eyes are maybe faintly glowing fire-red and ‘Carmina Burana’ is playing somewhere in the background. Somewhat similar to the Murdoch family… you think Rupert is bad, until you get to know his son James.
All you need to say on a day like this is something simple like…

In wake of the London attack today, with people dying and still fighting for their lives in hospital, Donald Trump Jr didn’t send condolences - instead he dragged up an old article to attack London’s Mayor - and even fucked that up by taking The Mayor’s words out of context, or just not understanding them.
Yet you think that tweet from him was not some crappy random comment from a Trump relative?

The Russia news just keeps getting worse for Trump.
The FBI has information that indicates associates of President Donald Trump communicated with suspected Russian operatives to possibly coordinate the release of information damaging to Hillary Clinton’s campaign, US officials told CNN.
This is partly what FBI Director James Comey was referring to when he made a bombshell announcement Monday before Congress that the FBI is investigating the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia, according to one source.
The FBI is now reviewing that information, which includes human intelligence, travel, business and phone records and accounts of in-person meetings, according to those U.S. officials. The information is raising the suspicions of FBI counterintelligence investigators that the coordination may have taken place, though officials cautioned that the information was not conclusive and that the investigation is ongoing.
