This movie has never been spared for terrible cover art
This one in particular makes no sense because the movie isn’t even in colour. They also did a terrible job at colouring it too.

This design isn’t terrible, I just hate that they placed “THE ORIGINAL CLASSIC” in the middle. It’s a stupid, somewhat redundant thing to call it, and to have that subtitle so prominent on the cover is just ridiculous.

The Amazon customer reviews of the actual transfer are not good either… the film itself is of course a masterpiece, as all right thinking people agree.
EDIT: I just noticed that the renowned Shakespearean actor “Patrick Steward” is in this version!
