Well, we're at 33 dead last I checked and a couple hundred injured. But that can easily change. Heck, they've already downed it from 7 explosions to 4.

My prayers are with you, London. Stay strong.

This has been a dark day for our Cousins in the UK. As I heard one radio host put it, the Spirit of Churchill is still present in the British Isles, and it will rise to the occasion. I hope Yoda is Your Father is ok.

Hold strong, Hot Rod. We're all behind you. And, just remember, throughout any past adversity, Britain has always come out swinging. Even the Blitz couldn't stop you. You guys are some of the toughest MFs around. Don't forget it.

What happened? I've been so busy all day I've only heard briefly about it an hour ago...
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

As best as I can tell, two bombs went off in London's subway stations, and a third blew inside a packed double-decker bus. Last I heard death toll was at 37 and injuries were in the 100s.

4 bombs went off in london, 3 in the subway and 1 on a doubl decker bus. sofar 37 ppl dead 45 critically injured, and 700 wounded. over 8 million people travel through dt london everyday so it was a marvel that the number dead are so few considering how many of those people use the transit system.

Who did it? Any clues?

A group that claims affiliations with Al-Quaida is taking credit for it. Why someone would want to admit to mas murder, I have no idea.

There was so much joy because of the city being chosen for the olympic games

My condolences to the british...

I wanted to talk about this whole terrorist situation going on, but I'll do that later 'cause I'm really busy right now.

Too often in this world a great joy is immediately replaced by great sorrow... Brits - in my heart I'm with you today... may God save us all.
I saw the original theatrical release of the Old Trilogy on the big screen and I'm proud of it...
How did I accomplish that (considering my age) is my secret...

My wife and I had some friends over from London for a visit this spring. When she called to find out if they were alright (which they are), she found out that they were ~50 metres from where the bus was bombed. Talk about scary.

Hey everyone, I'm ok. Thanks for the concern. I was on the underground on my way to work when the train stopped and we were told there was a power surge. Ater about 20 minutes we were told to evacuate. Nobody really knew what was going on but everyone was really cool and calm, even when news of the explosions started to spread - it made me proud to be a Londoner. The Emergency services and citizens reacted brilliantly. We were expecting it I guess, and although people died and were injured, it could have been worse. I think they were going for spectacle rather than killings. It's pretty much business as usual today. I considered staying at home but that's what they want so I am here at work. The ride in on the underground was slightly weird but after a few minutes it was all good. One of my friends was on one of the trains that blew but he sustained no injuries and actually went to work because it was nearer to where he was evacuated than his home. He saw some pretty gory stuff though....

I read a statement from this European Al Queda cell that is claiming responsibility and it said something along the lines of 'London is burning with fear and panic'. Let me just say that is bullshit. We are fine.

My thoughts and prayers are with those who were killed or injured and their familes.

War does not make one great.

I'm glad you're ok...

I've just read the bombs were on timers, not on suicides... They were just placed there?
