This is my first post, so before I make a fool of myself, could someone kindly point me in the direction of any appropriate FAQ's (not the petition one) and the Forum Rules?
I do have a quesiton that I have not been able to find the answer for yet on this forum or in any of my web searches. I would like to buy a set of the Definitive Collection laser discs, but want to ensure that I get the latest pressing with the restored 7-seconds of missing welding footage and any other corrections they made over the previous pressings. Could someone please post:
* the serial number from Disc 2, Side 3 of The Empire Strikes Back of the final pressing (or first pressing where this footage has been restored). "These seven seconds pertain to Leia welding on the Millenium Falcon. If you have a copy of this disc (the correct disc starts with Leia welding versus starting with Leia hanging up her welder)" source - http://home.earthlink.net/~treadwell_jay/starwars/THX.htm I believe these serial numbers look like B1xxx, B2xxx, B3xxx but don't know which serials correspond to the corrected pressings.
* the catalog number of the final pressing of the set, as well as the catalog number of the first pressing where the missing 7 seconds has been restored.
