Seemingly so mate - I think I read somewhere that Maz left her destroyed castle and went with Han and the others to the resistance base in a late draft - possibly filmed before being lost in the edit, or some reshoots?

Plus, we know there was some video footage of Maz giving Leia a lightsabre in one of the early trailers (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngElkyQ6Rhs)

They are gits for keeping deleted/cut content back from us - and then later slowly release bits and pieces of them in merchandise like this over time…

maybe we’ll get some more deleted/cut scene footage in the inevitable Sequel Trilogy Box Set in 2021? - with a few more scenes like that in the Ultimate Saga Box Set in 2024 😉

and then the Original Trilogy Theatrical Version Super Retro Box Set in 2027?

As we’re still seeing “lost” footage from the OT for the first time, we’ll get all the TFA and R1 stuff by the time we’ve all checked into the Near-Death Star. 😉
