As my part of my PIF, per ADigitalMan I have sent out 3 DVD sets of = ADM Sith SL, ADM Spoofs & ADM A Musical Journey to:
mingus, Hoichi, the Earless & THX. Hope they arrive soon and enjoy, I know I did.

Watched ADM's ROTS last night, I'll say right off that the dialogue insertion for Qui-Gon in the Yoda meditation scene (Polis Massa) is great....I think it works very well and improves the meaning of that scene, and Yoda explaining Qui-Gon to Kenobi later on.

I'm not really of fan of the deleted scenes, I think it tends to bog down the flow of the story in some cases, but the interesting one was Yoda landing on dagobah, I liked the part inserted with "are you ready?....yes." and "MTFBWY master".

I would have left out "will he finish what he begins?" and "finding him was the will of the force" because I found them too recognizable from ESB and TPM.

Again this is why I love seeing other peoples edits, there are always great ideas in these things that you never think of when doing your in own edit.

BTW I did a very similar edit in the Palpatine/ Anakin opera scene....replacing Midichlorians with Force, and using a repeated shot from behind them to cover up Palps wording Midichlorians.

im new to all of this ,was given a copy of Adigitalmans SWEPIII by a friend and totally loved it...
after reading the credits ,did a bit more investigating ,and found this site.

Would love to get all hes other edits ,but have no idea where to start
read a bit about the pay it forward system which seems like a very good idea.

Can some kind soul ,point me in the right direction.....
there also seems to be so many other edits out there too...

Thank you ADM for the edits on 4,5,&6. I got soured on Sw w/ the prequels and stopped watching anything to do with SW for a long time. I've never seen 4,5,&6 on DVD because of the continued changes. I originally liked the SE but after a while they started to grate on me, it was like GL was dumbing it down or something. When I became aware of some of the dialogue change during the Dagabah scene I gave up. Changing Fett's voice, changing the ghost of Anakin and other changes just confirmed to me that the SW that I loved as a child was gone. I threw away my framed movie posters and other toys in disgust. It wasn't until a I saw Magnolia's edit( Balance) that I felt any real excitement about SW. ADM edits of 4 and 5 ( haven't gotten to 6) are f'n magnificent. Thank You. You took out everything I hated and saved the best parts of the SE.

Finally finished watching Ep. III today.
Another great edit. The movie is now much more watchable.
I am again reminded of The New Yorker's Anthony Lane's review of RotS: superior to its two recent predecssors, "but only in the same way that dying from natural causes is preferable to crucifixion".

I was surprised to see the insertion of the deleted scenes that didn't have finished fx.

The Good: I definitely liked how you down played the lame "high ground" bit, and the stupid dying of a broken heart scenario. Unfortunately it did make the whole birth scene a bit choppy, but a good trade off none the less and forgivable.
The Bad: I would have liked to see the lines "you're breaking my heart Anakin", and "Hold me like you did by the lake on Naboo" gone.
The Ugly: Qui Gong - Good idea, bad in execution. Audio quality and volume was variable, spatial placement was dodgy, dialog recognizability jarring, and Yoda's final conversation -- confusing (who were they refering to finishing what they start? (Besides Luke)).

Not the highest point of the ADM edits, but still better then GL's interpretation, and that's really what counts.

Hey ADM, I can't seem to find ep IV, V, and VI of your edits over at the spleen. Are there plans for those to be available anytime soon? after watching your retouch of the PT, I'm anxious to see the rest. (would also like to see your Darth Editous hybrid of ep IV).

Ugh. I hope that Wiki page gets deleted. It's not only fanwankery, but it could also bring unwanted attention from corporate entities. Nothing personal, ADigitalMan, but I would prefer that we keep you all to ourselves (and those we PIF to) for now.

Wikipedia is the devil's work. There's been multiple threats of lawsuits to remove incorrect info on that site. I believe the the Phantom Editor has his entry as well.

just recently got all 6 of these edits from someone on this board(many thanx to that person by the way)and i must say these are all BRILLIANT. adigital ,u done such a proffessional job on the editing that i cant tell whats been removed unless reading it on here , the added deleted scenes make the films more complete. these are my definitive edits for sure now. they are pure quality!!!!!!!!!

i passed a few copys on(free of course)to a few star wars fans at work and everybody loves them. i keep getting requested for them from other people now as word has got round.
just thought id comment on my 2p's worth on such a brilliant series of edits.
