I really thought Ady would do a better job than that.
I love TSW, and not in a gusher/apologist sort of way, it's actually very "Star Warsy", I wish there was a restored cut from it released in Blu-Ray. I know I'd buy that instead of the "real" Star Wars movies.

The Great Tribulation has begun. . . .
^ It’s going to be great (other than the ‘end of world’ stuff) - I hear those Pre-wrath Tribulationists really know how to party… 😃

this is good news, I read about the print being found several years ago, being only one known to exist, I guess it’s finally going to be seen by the public, a moment in history for the recovery of an nearly lost film.
Turkish Star Wars will come out on Blu-Ray before Star Wars. We truly live in the wrong timeline.
It seems like people are really embracing the new characters. In fact, the big question people ask me now about Star Wars is, “Are Finn and Poe gay lovers?” And really how the f*ck would I know? My second husband left me for a man, so my gaydar isn’t exactly what you’d call Death Star level quality. ----Carrie Fisher

In 1982, a Turkish film-maker with a budget crisis came up with an ingenious solution for his science-fiction epic: steal some footage from George Lucas’s classic
^ with info on the 35mm version, and a 2K restoration from it being shown in cinemas (with trailer + funky BattleStar Galactica ‘inspired’ disco music), as part of ‘Scalarama 2018’, here:-

Did the sequel to this, ‘Turks in Space’ (AKA ‘The Son of the Man who Saved the World’), contain any Star Wars footage, or footage form any other sci-fi shows and films too?
(I am too scared to watch it myself! 😉)

Turks in Space actually had a budget, so there was no need to repurpose footage from any other sources. It’s also a complete cowpie devoid of anything vaguely resembling entertainment value. Don’t watch it EVER.
