Nice one Puggo - congratulations man.
Nice one Puggo - congratulations man.
Nice thread crpl_hicks 😃
For me it is No. 3 - ‘Alec Guinness did this subtle hesitation out of pure acting skill.’
His acting ability in the Trilogy and many other quality films he often lifts the scenes he is in, or the film itself - where conveying emotions, strength or resonance of character, or bringing innovation to his craft he was a step or 3 ahead of many actors around him.
Youtube videos with snippets of scenes set to music are ten a penny these days - though some still, like Mr Guinness himself, stand out from the crowd…

Ask the store for a demo of the disc printing mate - they can only say no 😉
If it’s an independent store they may offer a disc printing service - or could be persuaded to print a few discs off for you for a few $$$a on the side…
There are a few youtube videos re this printer (and similar printers in the Canon ‘disc print’ range) - they may be of some help; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAt4PvR2IGQ : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_5vXwWpmGk :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knK_A4hBbqk : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXY1gX_MXk8 etc
Seems very similar still to my 15 year old Epson R300 printer (still going strong today) - could be worth sifting through the Amazon reviews for mentions of the quality of the disc printing for useful info - though to be honest… my 15 year old printer’s discs from back in the days are still holding up and look decent (with no disc issues) - so I imagine the more modern printers (and a decent brand like Canon) should do quite well at it too 😃
There are some useful printing threads on various issues which can be found in the ‘A few useful links’ section of the Index thread pinned at the top of this section, here - An Index Thread (and more) for Case Covers, Disc Labels, and Fan Art… - and also some more printing threads just below that.
Good luck with it man.
Quality covers man - love the lettering and art choices for Jambe Davdar’s filmumentaries too 😃
All the best with the podcasts - am giving Episode 30 of Bantha Fodder a listen to now.

Apologies if already posted - though thought this seems a quality idea for fan-made content (and a great vibe & layout)…

Did this.

^ Love that - looks very iconic and effective in it’s simplicity - something which would sit proudly on a shelf or display with other dvds, blu rays and collections etc.
Plus, with the border surrounding the actual image… anyone could quite easily adapt it for use with their own particular appealing/favourite piece of artwork.
Hope you do another couple more covers for the other parts of the Trilogy 😉
Sweet work, Oswarez 💥 👍

Have you tried contacting Bobson Dugnutt on fanedit.org to see if he can provide you with links to his Edits?
Or may be worth sending him a PM on here? (he is also a member on here too)
Also check the Index threads on here for any mention of the editors/edits you are after too?

Same as yourself, man - enjoyed it overall though started to get somewhat bored going through the timelines.
A few mates without netflix who acquired it through nefarious means… are a little miffed as they couldn’t enjoy it as it was meant to be - something netflix and other similar platforms that suffer from high piracy rates may be taking a further look at…
Loved the in-jokes and references - wouldn’t be opposed to seeing this done again with Black Mirror, or a similar show.
Bring on season 5 (‘sometime in 2019’).
^ wonder what it was? 😉

Axanar is back in production!
Is Axanar still going? We hear that a lot from people just watching our new video updates on YouTube. So to get everyone up to speed, here is a round up! Some of you may know this, and for some it may be all new, but we want to make sure everyone knows what is happening as we move towards shooting in a few months!
As part of the settlement agreement with CBS & Paramount we are allowed to make two more 15 minute episodes, not the full movie we had planned. The question was what to make?
Now when we made Prelude to Axanar , we thought we should make it a part of a series, like The World at War, the famous BBC series narrated by Sir Lawrence Olivier and which a lot of us grew up on (You can read a good article on The World at War here, and its Wikipedia page is here).
The idea was to make Prelude LOOK like it was part of a series. But we had no intention of ever making episodes 4 & 5, let alone 1 & 2. Prelude was meant to be a proof of concept, followed up by the full length movie Axanar.
Fast forward three years and we settle the ridiculous lawsuit by CBS and Paramount. As part of the settlement, we are allowed to make two more 15 minute episodes, or 30 minutes total, and so I took the Axanar feature film script and trimmed it down and reformatted it to tell the story in 30 minutes.
Robert Meyer Burnett has his say, and spills a few beans, on his time on Axanar - and since…
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4YIKjJU7wT9wnunmz3dWAw/videos : https://twitter.com/BurnettRM
3 quite lengthy videos there (29th Dec onwards), have only watched the first one - yet found it quite illuminating - certainly don’t get the feel this was a just another (albeit quality) fan film, and can see why CBS felt they had to step in.
