This set of edits is drawing very close to being finished!

I just need clearance from a few more 'editors' who I borrowed some work from, and finish a few techincal difficulties with sound (#$*& %&# *$^ ^%#*!!!!) in TPM.

I'm very proud of the results, and have updated the original post with new information about the final changes I made, and other key information. This is looking up to be a fine edit.

Which would everyone say is the best set of covers for all six? I'm almost finished editing my version of the saga, and there's quite a lot more OT covers than PT covers.

George, or anyone else, wouldn't have destroyed the original negatives. They're the base for all further restoration or SE work, so they must exist, unaltered, somewhere at Skywalker Ranch. I feel like breaking in and snooping around for them. Anyone with me?

I thought I'd finished my Episode II edit. I had it burned to disc, and even deleted all the raw files from my computer. I was DONE, I promised myself.

Then I downloaded Attack of the Phantom. And I just HAD to re-edit Ep II all over again since there were some changes he made that I simply HAD to include in my version too! And a great, insightful commentary too.

And, I actually really like this, Shaw's eyes are still blue in the unmasking scene. OC pasted the eyebrows back on, but left the recolored eyes recolored. This, to me, is ideal. Was this an intentional decision?

Voulenteering to pay it forward! Classic Edition of ROTJ and also ESB, if possible. But just ROTJ is fine too. I can pay both forward.

EDIT: Sorry, what I meant was that I am offering to pay them forward if someone can send them to me initially. I don't actually have ESB or ROTJ.

When I demultiplex in woble and in DVD lab pro, the audio is always out of sync for ROTS. It gets gradually more and more out of sync as the movie goes on. This is because the audio file is a tad bit longer than the video file. Do you know why this is and how to fix it?? No matter what I do, this always happens when I try to demultiplex and compile to DVD.

Hey sorry to make another request thread, but this may have to be the last one!

I need someone who can generate good video transition effects. I want to remove the scene where Anakin and Padme talk about politics at home, this one:

If possible, I'd like the transition file to encompass both shots in their entirety, to make sure I can plug it in correctly. And if it's just as easy to do an audio transition at the same time, that'd be great too.

Anyway, kudos to anyone who can do this favor for me! I haven't used transitions for any of my other deletions or additions... but this one is the only one that sticks out in an ugly way when I have a hard CUT.

Since you've really improved on your methods, are you considering revisiting ANH at all? (I think it's fine, except the laserdisc footage looks heavily reencoded, where it already looks worse simply for being laserdisc.)

I heard rumors a while back about a digital transfer of Episode I scheduled for release. Does anyone know anything about this?

Reason I ask is that when editing this for my own fan edit, shrinking it makes it really suck compared to other DVDs. The rest are either digital or digitally remastered. Not so with TPM.
