Hmm… it might just be the conversion to DVD, then. NTSC and all that.

Thanks for leaving your impression. Seems like a fair appraisal of it. I hope that if you decide to check out the other two you give your thoughts about them as well.
I know the end credits were smushed to make room for the added editor and contributor cards, but I’d be very interested if you could elaborate on other frame rate issues with the rest.
It’s 2016. All words are offensive.
Ha ha, true enough!
Wow, now that’s four. Good heavens, that’s a first for me, or at least the first in a very long time. I’m not even sure what happened!
EDIT: Fuck!
TRIPLE post?
I find it interesting that “Oh my God” and “Jesus Christ” are much more common in public than words like fuck and shit. Why do you think that is?
I agree. For my own part, as a style choice if nothing else, I swear occasionally but do not do anything that approximates the name of God.
For example, I might potentially exclaim, “Gosh damn it,” but never, “God darn it.”

^He would not have identified himself as a believer, though he did as a youth. However, he surprised us by wanting to pray with us a few separate times the week before the surgery. Again, he was apprehensive about it.
I do take comfort in trusting to God who loves him as much as He does me, and whose providential hand I’ve seen work in his life and worked good through for me.
These sorts of threads don’t always meet with universal acclaim, but I commend the effort to support the community in this way.
That being said, my family is currently mourning the loss of my father two weeks ago, at the age of 64. Your parents are always going to be larger than life to you, and it’s as if suddenly the moon were missing from the sky. He was frightened to have to go in for the open heart surgery, but I’m glad it went well and he was in a state of recovery when the fatal stroke occurred, so his last waking moments were not of fear.
We weren’t as close as we could have been, and now I regret not making more of an effort to be. I feel really bad for him that this happened, when we were all ready to help him recover and I sort hoped it’d be a good way to muster a closer relationship.
If you wouldn’t mind, prayers for my family are welcome. It’s too late to pray for the man himself, so I am left regretful.
I think if they released an adult (or at least not targeted at young children) novelized version of the gist of the Clone Wars or Rebels series, I’d be interested and would likely prefer that format.
Regardless of the internal politics of whose idea was what, it’s all part of the Clone Wars/Rebels Filoniverse.
It’s so visually repellant, too.

Aaaaand, I’m out. No thank you, Filoni. I’ll steer clear of the cowboy hat from now on.
A perfectly adequate alternate prequel trilogy in the span of a few seconds:

It’s been submitted; it takes a while sometimes for the admin to check his messages and process them.
Just a question, could you upload your colour-corrected version of the “Other Boleyn Girl” clip? I can’t for the life of me get it to fit in or look natural.
I have had something huge happen in my family in the past week, so I cannot do this right now, but I certainly can in the near future. Remind me if I seem to forget, as I was on a Star Wars break for the month of March.
Im watching V4 currently with your commentary, im just wondering when you recorded it because alot of the commentary seems to be out of sync with the scenes on display, starting from the Jango v Obi Wan fight
Well, I decided to included the extended landing on Naboo after recording the commentary, so I had to reshuffle several scenes. I tried to patch the commentary up to roughly match for that part of the movie, but evidently not well enough to fool you. 😉
I was 13 when I joined the forums in 2003. I grew up around this insanity.

I’m leaving the forum for just a month or so. I want to take a break from all things Star Wars. I’ll still respond to PMs, but not to posts in any of my threads.
Before I temporarily become a hermit, let me once again thank you all for your help and support from the beginning. And the subtitles will be listed shortly on IFDB, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
I’m leaving for a month or so, as part of a break from all things Star Wars. Late 2012 through now has been crammed with Star Wars, and I just finished the last piece of housekeeping following the release of my final prequel edits.
But don’t worry, I’ll be back when TFA hits home video.
Make sure you do not use JDownloader to extract the archives. Do it in your filesystem.
Thanks for the post! Luke Skywalkeresque salute from plank over sarlacc
Thanks to MalàStrana, all three edits have French and English subtitles. Once he get the French subs in a state he’s happy with, I’ll package them up and link to them on the IFDB listing for each.
But, as a little gift to you all, I went through and transcribed the Backstroke Of The West subs for Labyrinth Of Evil too. It was a nice bit of fun to close out my work on this project. Should be posted pretty soon.
DrDre, this is looking remarkable.
