I remember this site getting early info on the cue list for TFA so they are credible. Also this was recorded for a longer edit of the film on November 11 which means a lot of the deleted scenes are in a finished condition.
We can certainly hope so.
That would make sense, since it was originally from a close-up. Which of the two versions do you feel is more natural?
Twin Peaks would be great if I hadn’t already seen it.
I like APOM so far. The writing is compelling but the story is getting started. From the POV of just being glad to have something to read, I’m happy.
Wow, any improvement to those deleted scenes would certainly be welcome!
I think the ST titles are pretty good and fit their respective stories. Even other films reference these.
“Leading then to the last Jedi…”
“Something inside me has always been there, and now it’s awake.” Etc.
The Thrawn titles fit fine, too, but I really don’t feel the need to change titles.
Here’s a slightly alternate version, more closely matching NeverAr’s implementation. What would be ideal would be two new shots of Hux to use before and after Snoke stands. As it is here, it seems a little ‘fan edit-y,’ but might be better anyway than the version posted above.

Well, trust me, it was great!
That will probably have to wait until tomorrow to fix.
^ I don’t think it’d be possible to get a decent reaction shot.
Here’s the second Snoke scene, using a genius idea from NeverAr that corrects a longstanding continuity error in TFA:R -
If someone does end up pursuing a fan edit that removed the whole ‘Rey Palpatine’ thing, they’d have a good opportunity to make the final scene free of dialogue, ala the other 8 films.

Got it. Just saying even if it were a sure list, even then we wouldn’t really know.
What he said. I can’t really offer any more versions.
I’d seen the post but we’ll have to wait to lay eye on the deleted scenes, and would have even if we had a list.

Yeah, I really don’t know. I probably won’t have much more of an idea about it until the BR release.
Reading the novelization wouldn’t hurt either, but they had to wait to write it until the basic plot was locked down super late, I suspect.
Two chapters into A Princess of Mars. I’ll keep The Expanse in mind, also. Thanks, guys!

Yeah, that damn callback coupled with this project’s DNA of conservatism might just get that moment reinstated.
In answer to this thread’s prompt:
Luke lifting his X-wing was a bright spot.
“You don’t need Luke Skywalker…”
I need to put Star Wars on hold for me for a while and would love to dip into another story.
I love the Joseph Campbell stuff about Star Wars, the mysticism, the hot take on politics and religion, a protagonist who is not a badass, redemption, etc.
Next to Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings has been my secondary fantasy world. I haven’t really ventured much into the fantasy genre, with LOTR being somewhat of a fluke due to the cultural exposure that preceded me picking up the books on a whim in 2007.
I like that both of these series have things to say that aren’t preachy and invite the reader to invest meaning into what’s happening. Never got into Narnia partly for that reason. I have not touched Game of Thrones beyond watching the first episode of the show. It seems rather bleak and depressing to me. I’m not a political science guy, and exploring “what would these kingdoms end up doing pragmatically” isn’t as interesting to me as philosophical or spiritual questions fantasy allows to flourish.
I don’t have a ton of free time, but I can read at least a little each day and if the story is gripping then it won’t matter.
