Yeah, those horses really only are there super briefly. It’s just a tiny bit weird to have a janky dolly shot of the tower without them, but it wouldn’t really occur to someone that it is out of place. I wonder if it could be stabilized?

The dagger is the reason Rey goes off on her own to Kylo’s quarters, so I feel that any attempt to remove its use would feel more awkward than accepting a dumb moment.

Rey’s line to Kylo, “I do,” is totes a wedding vow. Kylo carries her across the threshold onto his shuttle in TFA, too.
BB8 in the AT-ST was removed, as was the coin gun.
I agree, though, that TLJ took a misstep in making Rey super concerned about identifying her parents. Kylo should have promised something like “I know where your parents are” rather than “who” they are.

That clip has the line “Let your death be the final word in the story of rebellion.” If whatever music I overlay allows the line to be kept, I think it would be appropriate to have the first line of the crawl use the word ‘rebellion.’

In all seriousness, I miss my ooooold TPM edit sourced from DVD, where I could mix and match from all the extended podrace bits. Couldn’t really do that while working with the BluRay since it’s so different.
Thank you for sharing this knowledge. I’m actually really surprised a shorter version of this gag exists, since I’ve only seen TPM on VHS. Was it cut down for the DVD release or the later BLuray release?
