That’s not a bad idea. If there were enough footage to be able to let it play out before they comment on it I think it’d work. As it is, it makes me wonder why they aren’t listening to it intently until it’s finished.

Yeah, those lines are gone, Muffy. It sounds good as it is, and I don’t think it’s needed to add reverb. Yoda sure didn’t have any in TLJ and the center channel is not totally free of music and ambience anyway.

I originally thought a deleted scene of the broadcast could be interspersed with the reveal of the fleet, but I don’t think the right resources are there to make it work. And it’s pretty much ONLY the added lines from idir that make it worthwhile anyway.

Yeah, Poe is just there to be like “okay guys, here’s the deal, they brought back Palpatine for this one.”

Idir, I will say that that is the best (audio at least) of the broadcast I’ve heard. The new lines are sublime.

There’s just… nowhere to put this, is there? I like that you tie it into Luke and events of the last two movies like Palpatine is moving along a plan in retrospect.

Yeah, I’m not changing the title for this one. It’s not needed; it’s supposed to make you wonder what it means, at least does something to make Palpatine’s line “she is not who you think she is” not be completely obvious, and ties into the ending.

Hmm, I wonder if there’s any chance at all that the regime change for IX influenced that scene being pared down. Probably not, right?

And this project is finished as far as I’m concerned, it’s just that discussion of that deleted scene started up in here.

I would prefer if the line “the mighty Chewbacca” is used, that it not resemble Jabba’s delivery in ROTJ.
