Well, I have included it in order to resolve the error in favor of the SE since Adywan’s Revisited was based on the same primary source. This time that’s not the case and the two didn’t really work when put next to each other, so I reverted it to the OOT version of that shot.
Fortunately the Emperor scene worked perfectly well, being in a separate environment.

To be clear: I formerly used his Wampa cave scene, which is no longer necessary with these sources. And I used his work on the Cloud City window as they meet Vader for dinner, now reverting to the OOT for that one problematic shot.

The apparent clones floating around reminded me of how cloning was depicted in the EU Thrawn trilogy.

OP updated to reflect a new release of ESB that is underway.
In short, it’s remastered using OohTeeDee’s 19SE regrade and D+80 but essentially unchanged in terms of content.
I no longer use Adywan footage save for the Emperor hologram scene.

Currently uploading some of the versions while encoding others, but this’ll be appearing in the usual places soon.

ANH is next, and may have more for me to tend to than the others.

The YouTube channel “Star Wars Story” has made tweaks to the 2003 Microseries to cohere with TCW and ROTS, and is friendly to OT.com. If you elect to include the Microseries, you might check it out and maybe enlist their work.

Also, I like the idea behind this. Help me finally get onboard with TCW.

That’s a nice piece. I still think that what’s there already works equally well as it would have been if sourced from that clean take. It’s subtle. Thanks for pointing that out, though.

I don’t think so. An alternate audio track is one thing, but that’d be a whole 'nother ~50GB of stuff to deal with. And I don’t have any interest in retaining that change. However, it should be a doable exercise for anyone interested to merely overlay those couple shots to this project.

That’s a good breakdown of the dilemma. Fortunately a version of LOE exists with both endings. However, you’re right that the overall edit of Ep3 was crafted with that end in mind.

Probably soon. ESB won’t be difficult and ANH shouldn’t be too bad either. Oh, I’d guess maybe a month or by year’s end.

Yeah, it’s pie in the sky still. Once AI voice replication is nailed it would open up many possibilities for fan edits.

And I’ll replace what’s on the drive with versions that include the alternate track, and the torrents will include it when they’re produced.

Awesome! Frankly, I wouldn’t release torrents until it’s assembled, so I’d say you can send them either in parts or all at once.

If there is an accompanying text file it should list what version you have. The deleted scenes have not changed since (I believe) V3. Nothing solid has surfaced yet to supplant them, though there are a few potential things being worked on. But, for now, I don’t think you’ve missed anything big.

Oh, duh. We talked about this. Wouldn’t work because of the scene with Poe and Lando.

I don’t know how well it’d do in practice, but I like the idea in principle of Leia vanishing post-Han.

I don’t mind it, but I certainly don’t have the ability to do that. I’m not sure outright black robes would be all that appropriate, though a greyish color could have been nice. Anything to distinguish it from her costume in TFA, and it would be a meeting ground between her TFA and TLJ wardrobes.

It strikes me as a huge job, though, BUT IF someone did want to go through all the work for her entire screentime across the film, I would include it. But… that’d be a huge job. So, I just say “if.” Not asking for it, but would accept it if it were to be found to exist.

Yeah, maybe. I was hoping not to have two audio tracks, but we’ll see! Hopefully there’s enough compelling stuff that will make a V2 worthwhile.
