Kreep thank you for doing this amazing work! The files look pristine, and will go nicely with the T2 THX trailer and the T2 teaser trailer in front.

This is really great work and such a comprehensive selection of soundtracks. Thanks for what must have been a massive effort. This is my go-to version from now on (Theatrical Cut - sacrilege, I know).

Kreep has given everyone instructions on how to acquire this project in the opening post of his thread. Simply…

I’m a new member, so I can’t send a PM for 7 days. I’d like to request a link please. Thank you for all of your hard work on T2.

^ Not being able to send a PM because your account is new… is NOT a reason to make ‘link request’ posts on here…

^ Please note that cluttering up the project threads with ‘link request’ posts is not only poor form - but is also against the rules & guidelines here. We’re a community here - not ‘a download site’. Please read these below…

In general, simply sending a PM is the default way of asking for fan projects on here (unless indicated / instructed otherwise in the project thread)… Reading through the actual thread also helps - sometimes there are kind members helping each other out with links.

❕ I have found a Fan Edit / Preservation I am interested in - but I don’t know how to get / acquire / download it? ❕

Please leave some feedback for the fan projects on here - or even a review… (and join in with the discussions on this forum!)

Hopefully the project threads will soon get back to being discussions about the actual projects themselves - queries, feedback, reviews, exchange of ideas, suggestions for future versions etc - and not be full of endless & unnecessary ‘link request’ posts.

Good luck with it. 👍

Do you plan on working on other James Cameron’s films? I believe you have the skills to fix the godawful AI ‘remaster’ of True Lies(1994) lol. If not, do you know anyone else who tried to do that?

Ha. Thanks for the vote of confidence. The D-VHS release or even the 1080p Amazon WEB release of True Lies is the best way to go for True Lies. I don’t think there’s any saving that 4K UHD release. It is honestly the worst I have ever seen.

Man this is genious!

As a photographer myself the orange&teal on all 90s childhood memory films beeing “ReMaStErD” is really making me vomit into my OLED.
Will wait patiently to PM you after 7 days for the link 😉

Thanks so much! Greetings from germany!

God, Cameron has become as bad as Lucas. If these are Harmy-style attempts to fix the damage he’s done, kudos to you and I’d download them all. Decades we waited for them, only to get the DNR and AI.

I have been looking for this, what a good job. I personally have seen T2 in the theater and because I have read the comic series I wondered where the garage scene went, when Sarah Conner wants to destroy the chip and is arguing with John to give Arnie a change. On the special edition of the DVD I have seen this with other additional scenes but infortunately, like Star Wars, producers and such are unable to respect this. It would be wonderful is you can let me know how I can obtain this version(s):
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) - Restored & Regraded [Theatrical & Special Edition]

In my opinion one of the best action movies of all time. Thank you in advance.

Honestly, thank you for your fantastic work. This is now the way I will watch T2. My 2015 Blu-ray disc can now retire.

Thank you Kreep for this amazing project! I loved Terminator 2 growing up, so when I started my Blu-Ray collection recently I was disappointed to learn how this movie has been treated but relieved to find Restored & Regraded, which has gotta be the definitive way to watch it.

I have used Yuhan Blu-Ray Creator to make Blu-Ray compliant ISOs for the Theatrical and Special Editions of T2:R&R (much like David Kaylor has done for 4K77-83 over on the Star Wars Trilogy forums). These fit on BD50s and include full menu systems with chapter, audio, and subtitle selection screens, animated background graphics, and menu music. I’ve also made case and disc artwork to go along with these Blu-Rays. Here’s an Imgur link to some images of the menu screens and case/disc art.

If anybody would like to download these ISOs to burn to your own Blu-Ray discs, feel free to shoot me a PM. I’m also happy to send through the case and disc art if you’d like to print these too (I can provide the GIMP project file if you want to change the design or have different case dimensions, etc. - I used a 22mm Scanavo DVD case for a Criterion feel).

Thanks again to Kreep for all the hard work!

Hi Kreep,
This project is sick! Thanks for all the hard work!
I hate my 4K copy of T2 so much… I can’t wait for my 7 days in Newbie Quarantine to be up so I can send you a PM! Haha!
Thanks again, man. You deserve a knighthood for this!
Cheers,
jmtheo

Finally got around to watching this wonderful version. I was lucky enough to be able to screen it for a friend of mine who had never seen the movie. Not only were they blown away by how great this version looked, but they also got to enjoy a fantastic movie for the first time in quality that is leagues better than where the official 4K is at. Thank you for your wonderful work and generosity in sharing in!

T2 has been one of my favourite films since forever, my spouse got me a fancy ultimate edition DVD for my birthday shortly after we met. I bought a secondhand copy of a remastered edition a couple of years back and ended up taking it back to the shop, it looked so bad. Eagerly awaiting my 7 day quarantine to be over. 😛

The DVD I have would let you see the original ending if you entered the date of judgement day on the title screen, and also came with an mp4 1080 version (theatrical only) that you could only play in a Windows machine. Has anyone done a high def version with the special edition extra scenes (setting the CPU, the bit with Reese etc) but with the original ending? That’d be pretty sweet.
