Does any of you know where can i get this version? Thank you!!!

The Spleen. I already have it. Of course I don’t own the Indiana Jones movies on DVD anymore. Just the Blu-rays as everyone should. Except there are some bonus features which weren’t fully carried over to the BDs.

It’s also on Usenet.

Star Wars saga - Extra Extended Edition (1080p) (* unfinished project / WIP *)

Lost the chance to buy the needed brand new used desktop PC to advance with the job… also, as I usually do, I left this behind to refresh my mind, and meanwhile I learned new techniques that could probably be useful for this project as well.

Now I’m looking for another PC, powerful enough but relatively cheap at the same time.

“brand new used”

oxymoron, maybe?

Hello all. I’ve asked about different versions of the Despecialized Editions a few times before. Now I have a possibly silly question. Has anyone made an effort to preserve copies of the DE that are now obsolete?

The reason I ask is because I’m so impressed by all work you are doing, it seems like kind of a shame to scrap the earlier versions. They would show the progress you’ve all made in your work over the years.

I think I would even be interested in saving, in addition to the current versions, sets of the rars from respective three versions of SW 1.0, 2.0, ESB 1.0, & ROTJ 1.0 to data DVD-DL sets just for preservation’s sake. However, I don’t want to use torrents because of the security risks they involve.

If anyone could point me towards a source of links to those four older versions that doesn’t involve torrents that would be awesome!

And even if not, thanks again for all your hard work! 😃

They’re all on the spleen and there aren’t any risks in downloading them from there.

I’m really hoping for an update from Puggo himself, especially since he said that the final tweaks are supposed to be done by January 2017.

Where? He hasn’t been in this thread since June. I’m almost beginning to think this is not happening. 😦

Right now I’m trying to decide if I should just release it as is or spend a lot of time making a LUT for WillRob to re-encode his source with.

That’s easy. Release it as is for a Christmas present during the two week freeleech on the spleen AND release the other one later on.

Has anyone else had trouble merging the 00003 & 00004.m2ts files into an MKV? When playing the exported video, there is either some freezing or a very broken transition at the point of merging. The issue seems to arise from the 00003.m2ts file itself, as playing it results in it ending with a brief freeze for me. This is the only file I’ve had and consistently had a problem with.

I’ve used both MKVToolnix and Avidemux with the same result.

'Let It Be' - has anyone done done a quality preservation? (Released)

Is there a definitive version of this film yet?

According to what Fanfiltration said last page, the Rutracker DVD must be definitive. It has the best image and audio ever. It’s the 1992 restoration that apparently wasn’t available before.
Fanfiltration - “It looks like the rare unreleased “The Beatles - Let it Be (1992 film restoration)” is on Dailymotion.
For those not aware: this version of the movie is a direct transfer from the restoration done by Ron Furmanek in 1992, making this one the best image (new transfer from original negatives) and audio (mono on Twickenham section, glorious stereo afterwards)”

A little bit off topic but which LD track (what year) is used on the Spleen’s 38gb WOWOW?

Edit: Okay it’s probably more than a little off topic but I just couldn’t help but wonder if the WOWOW on the Spleen has the unlistenable 1989 mix or not.

Do you know litemakr? I don’t want to burn it to a BD50 until I know what LD mix it is.
