It is on the wild… “google is your friend” (usually)! 😄

I’ve found the AXN rip in many places but it’s always 25fps. I find it hard to believe you have an AXN rip that’s 23.976. Are you sure you didn’t convert it to 23.976 yourself?

I was able to find the AXN source, no logo, at the proper frame rate - open matte. Much better!

I’m upping this to the spleen right now and there’s 4 days left of free leech.

I’m having trouble getting this on a disc. I muxed in the DTS-HD tracks from Despecialized and made an ISO, but the disc I burned it to doesn’t play and VLC crashes when I try to open the disc image. I’ll try it again in the morning, but I’m wondering if anyone else has had a problem with this or if it’s just a fluke.

EDIT: I’m watching it now off my hard drive and it really is lovely. This is definitely the only ESB I’m watching until Poita’s is out.

Like I said above this post, I wonder if it’s because he encoded it with the “Main” profile. I’ve had problems before with the “Main” profile. The most telling thing is, I believe, is that I think all blu-rays are encoded with the “High” profile.

Idea, Info & Project: 'Titanic' - UK HDTV broadcast (pre 2012 changes) (Released)

Okay, so I just finished downloading the same file. I want to convert it to a blu ray-compliant file but there’s just one thing I need to know. Is it interlaced or progressive? The mediainfo output says Progressive but you can’t always trust that. By playing it back in WMP and VLC it does appear to be in fact Progressive.

If someone that knows more than me about such things could help out it would be much appreciated. Also, I’m planning on upping the converted one to the spleen. Here’s the mediainfo:

Yeah, I saw that listed on the Spleen. Have you watched it and if so, what’s your verdict? Do you prefer the fan edit or the theatrical?

I did download the Russian version of “Titanic” listed above and it is definitely the older version and appears to be complete.

It’s on a Russian site and I think it has Russian audio as well as English. That definitely doesn’t mean it’s a “Russian version”, it could be from the UK, etc;,. I’ve been downloading from Rutracker long enough to know that.

and the 21st Century Fox opening instead of the Paramount one we get here in the USA.

Interesting, I didn’t know that. Almost everything on Rutracker has several Russian audio first and than one or two English audio. Some smaller files are only Russian audio.

Thanks, found it with the upload date that you included. 😃

Looks very good indeed. My C4 HDTV recording clocks in at 9.15 GB and that includes the commercial breaks whilst this one is 25.07 GB and commercial free so there’s no contest. The running time is listed as 03:06:49 and the official theatrical is 3hrs 15m. The credits have probably been time compressed or removed.

Perhaps someone who has downloaded it can confirm?

T1
T2
T3
T4
T5

The answer is: the time difference is from the fact that it is 25fps. (It says on the page)

Amadeus - Laserdisc+DVD Audio Tracks for 4K (formerly Theatrical Cut Restoration)
Time

Hey Jimbotron,

I noticed that some people on your Amadeus thread were wanting a smaller 720p version of your edit. I know some folks on myspleen tend to want the same sometimes. I was thinking of maybe doing this but only if I got your permission again. I usually use the program Ripbot264 to make high quality re-encodes. Anyway, if it’s okay with you I might upload a 720p version to myspleen.

Thanks,
Stretch

Superman I-III extended TV cuts & Info - Where have the Preservations gone? (Released)

The KCOP or Salkind International Cut that was being worked on by some dedicated fans has been completed. It is the longest cut of Superman The Movie. It clocks in at 188 minutes. The clean up is good. It’s presented in full frame with mono audio as it was originally presented on its TV airings. It contains footage not found on any official release. Check out Caped Wonder for more information. Really great for any other Superman fans out there.

Where on Caped Wonder?
