I use the Forte Agent 2.0 software and my ISP provide free access. As a backup and for the more obscure groups, I have a $25/65Gb account with Astraweb.

A lot of people round here have used the above links and are now regular users of the newsgroups.

The Extra's disc is up on Demonoid I think.

I have just burned this and had a quick look.

So far, I am pretty impressed. I particularly like the Episode 1 segment where the saber shots just about tell the entire film story. The ultimate edit!!!

The whole thing reminds me of the Musical Journey DVD that came with the Ep 3 sountrack

BTW I will have your stuff in the mail by Monday.....

Very much off-topic but audio gems in my opinion are the 3 "Story of" albums and 5 original Star Wars Radio adverts that are already out there as mp3 files.

Another project in the pipeline is to get hold of the Star Wars read-along book series and capture the audio as mp3 files along with the 24 page books as jpg/cbr files.

It has been suggested that the "Story of" albums (which came with a 16 page booklet) and the read-along books would make an excellent interactive slideshow DVD..........

I have one ADigitalMan Special Editions set left to send out from my "Pay it forward" promise.

The first PM with a valid e-mail address gets that copy and I will then send that person details of any other PM's I get so that the "Pay it forward" will continue.

This includes the "fixed" Episode 1 and Episode 4 Dual Layer files over 2 discs.

I had zero interest in my offer to send out the full set so I am offerring again, giving segaflip first refusal if he is interested.

Some kind soul has posted the Version 2 sample on alt.binaries.starwars which is very handy for those of us with an ISP (ntl) which has problems downloading from rapidshare.

I get Usenet through my ISP for free as part of the basic package.

For the more obscure newsgroups and for when the ISP service falls down, I have a $25 for 65Gb Astraweb account.

As for anonymity, I would have thought that Usenet, torrents and other P2P downloads would be as bad as each other to your ISP. I have never heard of anyone having any problems.

My Astraweb account seems to be much more anonymous.

Hopefully in about a week I'll have a single-layer NTSC version of my ANH completed but I don't have a fast enough connection to torrent seed or binary post so will need some help.

You could always try the "Pay It Forward" method which worked pretty well for the ADigitalMan Special Editions.

I find it easier to run the torrent file which generates a folder with all the files in it.

Stop the torrent download and copy all the files off the DVD into the exact same folder generated by the torrent file.

Then run the torrent file again.....

That should do it.

No problem. I have very little video editting talent and will help out the talented ones all I can.

Anyhow, as requested, here is the extended clip. It is a wee bit bigger than the original one and probably includes way too much but I was not taking any chances.

is the GKar or TB SE sets NTSC?how can i get a copy if they are, i assume GKar is PAL.

Both sets are in PAL. Neither are perfect but they are better than any of the Asian bootlegs out there.

I do not think that you will gain too much from these.

I have just taken two clips out of the "TB Release" Episode 1 DVD (DVB recording of the Theatrical/VHS version) and posted them here.

It is so simple when you know how!!!!!!
