Star Wars by The Phantom Menace in 4D WHUXGA

To mechanically reproduce Star Wars using frames from The Phantom Menace at glorious WHUXGA resolution, creating an experiential 4D presentation.

WHUXGA = Wide Hex[adecatuple] Ultra Extended Graphics Array

WHUXGA is so HUGE it's not even on the map. But it is in the wiki:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WHUXGA#WHUXGA_.287680.C3.974800.29

WHUXGA an abbreviation for Wide Hex[adecatuple] Ultra Extended Graphics Array, is a display standard that can support a resolution up to 7680×4800 pixels, assuming a 16:10 aspect ratio. The name comes from the fact that it has sixteen (hexadecatuple) times as many pixels as a WUXGA display. A WHUXGA image consists of 36,864,000 pixels (approximately 37 megapixels).

But back to this project.

SWxTPM-4DWHUXGA = 7680 x 3270 resolution

General Star Wars Random Thoughts Thread
Time

John Williams has put out too many albums in so few years and not all of them were bad as almost all of them amazing were.

George Lucas has brilliantly filmed 5 years without a single slip up.

Howard Roffman has approved toys for children for over 30 years and they were all as close to perfect as his toymaker filmmaker boss could ever get.

I am saying this is all shit, but it is a General Star Wars Random Thoughts Thread after all.

Do they expire relatively soon or is there a chance of buying them back? With all the random links which point to the SHoSW site, you could possibly have enough people donate to make it happen. Places like kickstarter.com for instance allow you to set up a monetary goal with a practical end date, and people pledge, and only if the goal is met by the date are the funds redistributed. If not for getting the rights back, maybe for a the funds to print the second edition, without too much of an initial loss.

Growing up a self-published comic book fan, there are more and more success stories of this, and periodically read stories of book authors now-a-days making the shift from publisher to self-publisher. Where they can drop the digital download price which finds a much larger audience. The issue then becomes how much paypal takes.

^ There have been several attempts, a dedicated a.b.sw thread, a general torrent thread. It's a good idea, but people need constant reminder that a request doesn't mean it automatically shows up.

and there's the inevitable discussion of which method is preferred:

Listen to the work of Iced Earth's drummer, Richard Cristy, on the Howard Stern Show. Guys phunnie crazie. After putting most of his time into the show after joining, he's had a few things put out with the group "Charred Walls of the Damned". Don't know if it's any good. (i like noise)
