DVD Recovery ?
Time
Evening folks,

I have a number of DVDs that I received in a trade over 5 years ago with ridiculously rare stuff on it - including a number of 2001, Aliens and Star Wars rarities. I've wacthed them all before perfectly well in a number of stand alone players in the past - but now not only will they not play - but as many programs as I can think of on the PC can't even identify any information on the discs - even the usually reliable DVD Decrypter coupled with 321's DVDXRescue (that I've succesfully used to recover discs in the past) report that the discs are empty (which they definitely aren't !). Anyone with any tips or even systems that are able to read these type of discs ?

Much thanks.

Info & Offer: Dear Santa...
Time
Evening folks,

Ell: This sort of time

Here's my little Christmas sack of goodies...

I have the following to distribute to the first 4 PM's that request one (and only one !) of the below lots - I just have one set of each so I'm afraid can't accomodate multiple askings.

1) Editdroid complete OT set (3 DVDs)
2) ADM Episode 4 Dual Layer version (2 data DVDs- make your own DL !)
3) Hearts Of Darkness (Making of Apocalypse Now ! 1 DVD)
4) Captain EO (Cheesy Disney parks Michael Jackson/George Lucas/Francis Ford Coppola collaboration ! 1 DVD)

I'll let you know what's gone as and when - if you've already taken up another members offer - try and let some of the people less quick to get in there !

Cheers,

'13-30 Extraflirty' fan edit (Released)
Time
Outrageous !

Real-life taking over from fan-edits and movie uploading. Tut tut !

Looks like 27 Days is back in circulation by the end of today - all of those peers (including me) are heading towards 80% - fingers crossed we'll be there by the end of the day and the seeder's marriage will be saved !

As ever - I'll keep it up for close to a calendar week.

Cheers,

Klokwerk's CBB DVD Covers Thread (3 Covers + Disc Art Available)
Time
I think approval from the one of creators of the disc is as high as you are gonna get

That's a great cover - and the door suggestion and execution are inspired.

What's the next CBB you were thinking of working one klokwerk (time allowing !) ?

Personally I think the Matrix DeZionized and the Kirkless Generations are the ones that need more justice at the mo than their current counterparts

Hey Boon,

Have jumped on most of the CBB releases and am doing my best to seed Kirkless and High Tension at the mo - however can't find anywhere that has a decent seeded (re ANY seeds !) for 27 Days Later - which is ironically the one I want to see the most, and Doomed By The Boogeyman - now that Klokwerk has sorted such a damn fine cover - would be nice to get the disc Any suggestions - or should I wait off for a re-release/s ?

Cheers.

Much thanks Rikter for the Pearl Harbor news - can't wait to check this out

PSYCHO_DAYV - THX brought to my attention that whilst happily PMing away - I forgot to switch on the fact that I could receive replies (D'oh !) - this has now been rectified and the offer still stands if you need sorting out with the Harry or Austin covers...

The Dark Side Of Oz (Released)
Time
Much thanks to segaflip for upping CL2 (Evil Dead) to the newsgroups - superb disc. Really enjoyed it

I second (or third, or fourth - lost count !) the motion that Jason should pull his finger out and get on with the Halloween edit - I mean you can't have anything on your hands at the moment with Rockford (or life !) AND tidy up your room young man should it feature it a future disc as it did with the Oz sync

Top class work klokwerk - very imaginative. I'd definitely go with the silver edging - just for the very reason that DVD-BOY states - that the gold is too reminiscent of the old Universal Special Editions - hence the silver giving you an indelible trademark of your own !

Keep up the good work & make sure you get a hi-res version posted here or sent to Rikter for inclusion or any future releases
