That's a superb list. Unfortunately I have nothing which you already haven't got - potentially the Fear In The Dark and Clive Barker Episodes are transfers that I've put out there but maybe you've gotten them yourself :D

Would be fascinated from anything that comes of it.

If you are able to stick to the plan that you have then it won't which order they come in, they'll even be room for a #7 if you get more material along the way.

Have a look at digitalfreaknyc's Indy Series - if I recall it was: 1,5,2,3 and we've still to see 4

The sense of gratification that you get when you get any # out there will spur you on to complete the set.

(or just renumber #6 #3 instead - or make them all #11 !)

Please bear in mind this is not being typed through gritted teeth - but I just have to quickly address this.

This project is *not* one of the those that is announced with hoopla and never happens. Believe me, I for one bemoan the myriad of projects that are announced thusly and never materialize.

The difference with them and this is that there are 3 discs of material related to this project that both Jonno are I have sweated over and spent literally 100's of hours working on.

A further disc will follow, no doubt but when *we* are ready to work on it, not just when people decide it's time to kickstart our evidently lazy asses.

My fanedit/life ratio needs to be addressed, since the last release (that was Jonno's baby and easily the best of the 3) I've also finished 4 discs worth of Dawn of the Dead Volume 2 discs and the Taxi Driver preservation. I appreciate that no-one is holding a gun to our head to do these but it's very easy to be an armchair spectator without knowing just how much time and care goes into these.

So apologies if I need a bit of break from it all but I will take the above positively that interest is still out there for more, and as long as people are equally prepared to be forthcoming with material that they promise and don't put us to expense to track down said items when they never arrive then I'll contact Jonno and see what we can rustle up for disc #4.

However, judging from your initial postings I'm presuming the "you can make it up to me some way" would be financial - or that you'd request payment for those future items you're referring to, should that be the case I'll politely decline.

However if you are interested in the project (which if you hang around here for any length of time you'll realise no money *ever* changes hands) then you'd be welcome to send me a PM - ensure your PM's are switched on in your profile and we'll talk and see what we can do. If you've seen the disc itself you'll have my email too and realise that it's not just your items that are featured on the disc itself.

Indeed - fantastic news that there might be two on the horizon.

I've been aware of CW's one and he has graciously allowed it to be his production that can be brought out under the DotD Ultimate Edition #2 banner - that will be the closer to this project (but I think I might be able to squeeze another disc in before this obvious concluding epic!).

Seenoevil - we'll all be very interested to hear how your's is progressing if you can drop by this thread periodically.

Had I not been perhaps a little overly generous on the DotD, Alien series, Taxi Driver project and Jambe Davdar's epics (round about 100+ discs and counting!) then I'd happily do PiF's - should anyone wish to take the mantle then please feel free.

That said - I'm a real convert to rapidshare (just on a monthly basis - it's dead cheap): you'll be able to snag countless goodies for pennies (and no reliance on seeders/speeds etc.), sheesh - sounds like I'm a shill for them getting commission

Oh, I'm sure we'll sort out a torrent of somekind through the greatness of D_J, though whether that will be spleen or not.

The mere pennies that rapidshare works out as for a monthly account is well worth it for the amount of content you can grab during that time at far higher speeds than any torrent !
