Still if you are showcasing a nice work on one sector from the edit it should take the time to show it well and done. After the nice work was done in the detailed 80s accurate millennium falcon.

Oh, are you asking for higher-res wallpaper? Because for the most part, these are as big as the renders I have go. The Cloud Car is about 30-40% bigger than the original file and the Snowspeeder is 30-40% smaller. This is what I meant by trying to find a good balance. Another render had to be expanded 300% to match the others at this resolution wallpaper! These are renders straight from the 3D artist who is doing them in his spare time, I'm not going to nitpick what he's given me.

EDIT: 650 hits on the Wallpaper page and only 120 clicks to the files? I can't help but feel disappointed (but who am I to talk, I don't even look at my wallpaper).

^^Hey, I'd be happy even with a written account!

Well, at first... ;)

Besides, I'm sure 005 will be wanting to do some sort of visual comparison at some point. Yes/no, 005?
I'd like to, but I'm going to depend on the others in the thread to help find and capture them as (1) I'm still not sure I'm going to own the Blu-rays and (2) have no way of capturing Blu-rays. In short, with some help, the comparisons will have every visual change of every release of the original trilogy.

Speaking of purchasing the set, since its not just the 2004 version with no additional changes, I am considering purchasing at least the Original Trilogy set when it comes out. I'm going to leave that decision in the hands of Adywan, who gets it 4 days before the States. If he says that he thinks they might be worth it, I'll buy it. I'm not sure I need the extra bonus disc from the boxed set, though I do love my bonus features none of the new ones sound any good.

When my power comes back on, I'm going to release a couple wallpapers! They may not look like much, but they have it where it counts.

EDIT: Uploaded! You can find the first two wallpapers on the site!

They're completely different angles.  I guess it's possibly from an alternate take, but there's really no way to know for sure.
The bonus features show that Lucas filmed everything with two cameras, the alternate angle probably comes from the other camera. They literally took the B Roll and put it in Return of the Jedi.

An article from the DVD & Blu-Ray Review magazine, Issue september 2011, confirms that Matthew Wood has put his voice in the audio tracks of all 6 movies:

WHAT? His voice didn't originally exist in the movies, so much for restoration... I hope that sound mix does sound really good enough to make me forget he's in it.
So we went from the original soundtrack, to a "Best Of" soundtrack in 97, to a messed up mix, to a completely recreated from scratch and messed with who knows how?

Harmy's RETURN OF THE JEDI Despecialized Edition HD - V3.1
Time

Been skipping around this while I can, I hadn't seen the workprint or anything. Anyway, this work is incredible. Even KNOWING 100% what was despecialized, I couldn't really tell if I didn't overthink about it. ;-)

Show it to anyone who has never seen RotJ and they will NOT be able to tell that it isn't the original. Save for the frame rate problem wiping from Jabba's Palace to the Dune Sea, its perfect so far!

Anyone here watch Eureka? It's actually one of my wife's faves. It's back on and the episodes have been pretty decent. It's more like a warm sweater these days than... you know... some exciting new shirt or something.
We would have watched this season (for Wil Wheaton and Felicia Day), but SyFy has it in their heads that Hulu is out to get them, so they only update a few episodes at a time months after the season is over. Now that its getting cancelled, I doubt they'll even have that luxury.

What is it with the networks that own Hulu not wanting to use it, or only allow streaming certain shows to your computer and not your devices. I can run adblock on my computer, I actually watch your ads FULL SCREEN when I watch on my Xbox, which I'm more than happy to in order to see new shows.
